Monte is supernumerary - he has no particularly applicable skills - so can bulk out whichever group. All he brings is some experience of moving in high-status circles (having climbed into them).

Re: OOG Discussion
Have I completely missed the entire how we get there, what we are supposed to be doing to fit into the scenario bit here - because I'm definitely feeling like this is an "In through the front door" party not a "look over the boundary" recon - which is what I've dressed for.

Apologies, I had neglected to hit submit on a post several days ago. I've re-written it and hit send now.

Gunnar has no skill in this, so he'll act as lookoutTeam Recon may attempt and hacking they wish with computer or other rolls.

Re: OOG Discussion
To my current gamers:
I am sorry for this, but I am going to shelve the game.
I suspect you might have seen it coming, but this game was originally for another player who was going to be the backbone of the game, but backed out due to work issues.
So, I gathered others and moved on.
I had many plans, and too many.
The outsiders (the body you found)
The Alien Technology
The 100-year-old war
The high-tech medical lab
The Baron/Baroness tension
The suppression of knowledge by the empire
Just off the top of my head.
I will keep the ooc open for a while if anyone has any questions.
I will think about running a different style of game later.
I have enjoyed it.
Eric

Re: OOG Discussion
I'm sorry to see the game go, Eric. I've been battling with various RL demands on my time, so I wasn't able to focus as much as I really wanted. Thanks for putting in the effort to run it, though.ateno wrote: ↑Wed Jun 21, 2023 5:33 pm To my current gamers:

Re: OOG Discussion
Sad to wave goodbye.
It was an interesting game, and I'm sorry I found so little time to do it justice.
