Odd, even though I'm subscribed to the forum, I didn't get automatically subscribed to the new thread...

Sorry, I did get notification of the new thread, BUT I wasn't automatically subscribed to it...

Periodically check and make sure you're subscribed to things...

And periodically check the game forum for stuff that somehow has slipped through the notifications.

Rex - your initial mentor will be your family member who serves on the Daimyo's bodyguard. Tell me who they are in relation to you and post as much of an introductory scene here as you like, covering the month leading up to the new chapter. Tell me what skill(s) you want him to teach you. You get 4 one-week bumps. I'll figure out the the math once you specify.

Are we on a 7 day week or a 10 day week... I think we keep forgetting that Bushido uses the Japanese 10 day week...

Week 3 - strategy: (70-0)/10 = 7 + 4 = 11 (new total 11)
Week 4 - naginata: (70-52)/10 = 2 + 4 = 6 (new total 58)
Total growth: +10 (62 total) in Kyujutsu (bow), +9 (34 total) in Bajutsu (horse), +11 (11 total) in Senjo-jutsu (strategy), and +6 (58 total) in Naginatajutsu. With our Faster Attributes rule, that also allows him to add 4 points to physical attributes.

Yeah, I didn't realize the Bushi sheets were missing the spot for that. I just added it on Rex's sheet. Really, you could just add it to the initial points instead; no harm there.

But adding to initial points makes all the skill scores go up which isn’t supposed to happen.

Oh - direction was to copy/paste special/values on Column B before adjusting attributes. Once your intial sheet is built, the initial skills shouldn't ever be formulas again.
