Movie: Guardians of the Galaxy #3
Movie: Guardians of the Galaxy #3
LOVED IT!
Action, humor, emotion; everything a good story has. This is how adventure sci-fi gaming should be.
No spoilers, just go enjoy it on the huge screen!

Nice. Stack up against the first one? I love that movie. The second is kinda meh.
Re: Movie: Guardians of the Galaxy #3
I like emotion in story, and this one pulls it off in spades. I would say the best of the three.
Of course, I just saw it, and haven't seen the first in a while. For those that think the D&D movie had a GotG vibe, this one blows D&D away. Not even in the same class.

Well now I have to change plans and go see it
Re: Movie: Guardians of the Galaxy #3
I wasn't super impressed with the first one, and didn't see the second, but we're going to see the third on Sunday.
We'll see... but, I'm cautiously optimistic now.

Re: Movie: Guardians of the Galaxy #3
I can officially say that I am not a Marvel fan. I liked the first Iron Man film, but none of the handful of other Marvel films I’ve seen since — including Guardians of the Galaxy 3.
I gave it a 5.5/10 (rounded up to 6 on IMDb), but my rating would have been a point or two lower if not for Drax.
It’s interesting. I gave the Honor Among Thieves movie a solid 7.5/10 and felt it was significantly more entertaining. I even preordered a digital copy of the D&D movie on Amazon the same night I saw it in the theater (all while knowing it would be available to stream on Paramount+, which I subscribe to, very soon afterwards).
Different strokes, or whatever.
Re: Movie: Guardians of the Galaxy #3
I haven't seen it and probably won't in the theater. I tend to like Superhero movies and comic books (comic books better) so will probably like it. I did see the D&D movie and thought it was all right. Certainly not a great movie but such a huge improvement over the previous ones I can live with its faults.

We're planning on seeing it in a few weeks when the kids are back home from school. Looking forward to it - i'm surprised (pleasantly) that all the reviews on IMDB are all really positive

I really liked it, but preferred D&D (which I've seen three times in theaters).
Sometimes this summer I will most likely be participating in another 24 hour game of Dungeons & Dragons as part of Extra Life. This organization uses gaming to help raise money to donate to children's hospitals. I'm raising money for Marshfield Children's Hospital in Marshfield, WI, and all money I raise will go to that hospital. All donations are tax-deductible. Please take a moment to check out my donation page below. Thank you.
