D&D movie: Honor among Thieves

#1 Post by Bluetongue »

I caught this a couple of days ago.

Any comments. With new Game of Thrones prequels and the Tolkien: Rings of Power, there is a lot of creativity going into this genre.

The trailers look interesting for sure. Higher quality production then in the past. How they handled the plots will be the most interesting thing to see.

There are a few videos on YouTube with cast members speaking or fans commenting on extended trailers. I think purists will enjoy it and watch the movie trying to pick out various spells or feats as they are acted.

The mimic looks good, must incorporate one into my campaign.

I'm reserving judgment, but I have high hopes. Personally, I get a little bit of "Guardians of the Galaxy" vibe- at least from the interpersonal chemistry of the team.

Well that boosted the movie a bit on my watchlist.

My brother and I went to see this yesterday. I purchased the tickets, and when I told him our seat numbers, he cited my failure.

He pointed out that I should have picked seat d20:

Saw this a couple of weeks ago, not really impressed. High end production, and interesting characters, yes. Flat plot though.
