Re: Asides and Public Discussion about the game (Part 1)
OK - Summary to this point
1) The Queen used to run goods for the more dubious elements of the system. They mostly avoided the pirates and anti-pirates but were eventually arrested for smuggling stuff. (Both Reven and Nalani had, at that point, left the ship)
2) The Queen was released from arrest. One of the owners (Noor) was attacked when the shareholders met
3) It was discovered that the Queen had been sabotaged by one of the crew prior to the arrest.
4) There was another attack on the ship - whether the target was Noor alone or Noor and the former crew was unclear - but the attack seemed to be linked to a major terrorist incident at the starport.
5) In a sealed part of the ship, some odd crystals have been found
6) The saboteur (Hebden) had hidden some stuff at the south-pole port that came to light when you docked.
7) Hebden was caught - and yet another attack on the crew ensued (by gangsters posing as police). This persuaded Noor to head off to Saphire thus (hopefully) drawing off the assassins. Meanwhile, the New Heaven government has set a bigger faster ship to following you to see what you are up to.

It's been over a month since the last post in this game so consider this a status check.
Are there still plans for this game, or should it be archived?

I'm still here. I think we're just in one of those pauses that happen.

Re: Asides and Public Discussion about the game (Part 1)
OK - So clearly a comms issue!
Nalani and Pranit are sat in the cafe with the guys from New Heaven.
The Guys from New Heaven are convinced you have information they don't have and are basically threatening to hound you until you follow it up and then grab it or help you follow it up and share it. (They might have a sell us the info and we'll leave you alone option).
Indrani is on the ship with Assana and Maggie
Reven is finding supplies while being "Near" in case of "trouble at' mill".
Meanwhile, you have a link to the Belt's Naval Intelligence who also want the information (or rather the ship it leads to); you have an increasingly panicky person who is trying to destroy anything that might implicate them in the whole affair; there is some form of terrorist group out to disrupt shipping (or similar) that the panicky person seems to have some overlap with. You have Assana sitting on a pile of unaccounted for, tax-free cash and insisting she's contracted you to find her parents, and a set of papers, computers files, old plants and crystals that constitute some form of lead. Reven is missing a family (as in has physically mislaid it). Pranit has his family (a bunch of reprobates if ever there was one) on this rock. Indrani has her ship and it's almost spaceworthy but flyable - and whose largest shareholder is PNG'd by the Belt Government and exiled to Touchdown. You have multiple contacts and allies scattered about the system.
What do you want to do next?

Re: Asides and Public Discussion about the game (Part 1)
Nālani's primary concerns are to look after Assana's interests and operate the Queen (her share in it being her only asset) profitably.
To those ends, it seems that dealing with the whole "mysterious assailants" problem is urgent.
She is inclined to make a deal with the Heavenites - they are quite persistent, and a powerful ally would be useful.
The outline of we find the ship, they copy the tech is suspiciously generous, I hope we can get it in writing

Reven is just happy to be onboard and working, that being said, he's suspicious, everyone seems to have a motive

I'm sorry - Having changed employer, I'm definitely getting less time to concentrate on Games. Also, my care responsibilities for my mother-in-law have jumped.
Sorry - But this should be archived.

Agreed, rather this than wait forever. It's all good buddy.
Can we get a synopsis of what was happening and the plot line?

I completely understand time-pressure and limiting gaming to what you can realistically give your best attention to.
If you ever want to revive the game, I will happily return to it.
