OOC Chat
Re: OOC Chat
Hello guys.
I have rolled some macro's and have decided I can make a half-elven druid..
For your random magic items, my request would be something to wear, something to use, something to play with'.

Re: OOC Chat
I have rolled and am going with a Human Ranger.
Re: OOC Chat
I've got rolls that let me have a go with my dual-class cleric->MU.

I am here!
Happy to wait and see what we need in the party, then play a Paladin! (just kidding)
I’ll play anything!

Re: OOC Chat
If we apply aging modifiers, this roll could just barely qualify for a UA paladin.
[4d6c1]=17,[4d6c1]=16,[4d6c1]=9,[4d6c1]=13,[4d6c1]=16,[4d6c1]=10,[4d6c1]=14
Waffling on different options. Drafting a cavalier at the moment, but can switch to virtually anything needed.
Are we using the multi-class options from the UA errata or standard PHB?

Re: OOC Chat
Assuming that by UA Errata you mean the charts on UA pg 8-9 then yes use that with the appropriate notes from the House RulesQuonundrum wrote: ↑Wed Nov 30, 2022 11:49 pm Are we using the multi-class options from the UA errata or standard PHB?

Re: OOC Chat
Sorry, I meant the errata published in Dragon.

Re: OOC Chat
I had forgotten this existed (explains some of my old house rules that were in my head).
To answer your question, I would be willing to discuss anything that is on this list that is not in the PH, but there were some of these errata that always confused me. (e.g. Things I did not like)
Example one: Cavaliers in the book have to be good to start, the errata says "Any non-evil at start"
Example two: In the Character Race Table III.: Multi-classed character options there is an option of Druid/Ranger Multi-class. How do you start both true neutral and a good alignment?
Just ping in the private thread and we can try to come to a mutual point.

Re: OOC Chat
The Druid/Ranger one was a long running discussion in Dragon magazine. I think it that at one point Gary admitted someone ran one in his campaign. My guess would be NG. The truth is most games in the 70's and 80's used the rules as rough guidelines and no one was all BTB. I played in a lot of games in the 80's with lots of different DM's and no one ran it BTB, especially alignments. One of the more memorable games I played in the villains were a group of evil Druids and Rangers.

Re: OOC Chat
So it looks like we need more…..thief or fighter?
I am half tempted to play a class I’ve never ran before, the Thief-Acrobat.
Or maybe just a standard thief, if I can’t get the rolls.
Is everyone else pretty much decided?

Looks like Cybersavant is leaning towards a Half-orc Fighter / Thief

Re: OOC Chat
I can fill in with any class that’s needed. Extra fighter maybe?
I’m getting on a plane for the next 16hrs so can complete char rolls when I land tomorrow.
Sorry for the delay!

Looks like all the classes are in. I am working on the magic items. You will be locked in by tomorrow. I am a little surprised on only two spellcasters.
