Happy and verifiable rumor

I'm in discussions to write a new setting book for Risus.

I'll be playtesting parts of the setting on here, if I can get 2-3 players.

Sometimes this summer I will most likely be participating in another 24 hour game of Dungeons & Dragons as part of Extra Life. That's great tibbius! Good luck, I'm not surprised with your creativity!
This is a game about killing things and taking their stuff so you can become more powerful in order to kill bigger things and take even better stuff.

Risus is a super-versatile four page rule set for roleplaying games. It's ... really something. The rules are freely available. It definitely leans toward "story" more than "rules," but the rules still control how the story develops. The most popular (only) commercially-published setting is Uresia: Grave of Heaven - which currently is not available for sale, due to an intellectual property dispute. Too bad, because that is a really bizarre setting ... dragons, flying islands, emerald-powered mecha, trolls, satyrs, dead gods, pirates, elves, fusion reactors, etc.
