I'm trying to channel The Princess Bride while hopefully avoiding being eaten.

To clarify, all of the described action with the door-like creature was happening on the far side of the building, so none of the waiting PCs would be able to see anything. About an hour after Svenn left, however, y'all were able to see the ogre patrol, which had been making lazy circuits of the house, perk up and rush around the back of the house, out of sight, brandishing their weapons.

What about Newton? He isn't with the rest of the group. He went with Svennn and then waited in the bushes.

Would Newton have been circling the building as well? Otherwise he would just be closer to the house, but on the same side as the rest of the party.
