Ah, I was thinking we were on that floor just above the first parapet:

The gnome points to the NE corner of the building and coils up a couple of the hemp ropes and grapnel.

skipping fighting our way through a couple of floors of undead minions might be worthwhile if we suspect the undead Sir Jameson rests in the upper towers.

No worries I may have also mixed stuff up with the climbing up bit way back when they all arrived at the building. The way this was all created is a board game that all starts in the same place but if you play all 3 there is a tower attacked to the fighters academy and some encounters change depending on if we only are running Fighter's Academy as a solo adventure or not. It's slightly wonky.

I am sorry but I have to go on hiatus, some things are going on that just prevent me from being able to posy regularly as of now.

Quite alright and understandable. I hope all is well or gets better whatever the case may be. If you would like to have me find someone to run McTavish for you I can do that or if you would rather just have one of us NPC him we can do that as well.

You will learn from this battled that whatever this 4 armed skeleton really is it takes non-bludgeoning dmg at 1/2, magic dmg at least from MM is normal dmg as is bludgeoning dmg, and it can apparently laugh you into a paralyzed by fear/horror type state. It is not undead which maybe McTavish and Monty figure out. So this can be I suppose learned from how this combat went if perhaps everyone can figure this out from a INT? hmm maybe WIS roll not INT? I know not trying to get meta here but figured this would explain the combat results a bit better. That 27 dmg was a slashing weapon that probably should have killed the creature if it were a normal skeleton but since it was half that dmg the creature survived. As you can imagine it is not a skeleton. With some mixed information between the game pdf and MM it is actually a lesser form of a Bone Golem. Game pdf provides stats that don't quite match what the MM says so I combined the two figuring this was a unique version of said creature. Just figured I'd reveal some information that might clear things up OOC wise but in IC characters won't know this information currently.

Monty has knowledge of Vampires,,, and she does have a notebook. She would definitely take a minute or two to ask everyone about this

skeleton and note it in her notebook. So it might not be "metagaming" and she did also note info about whatever thing they fought earlier , the

Mummy.

Does that sound fair?

Monty as far as you can make out this was some sort of price tag as if the golem was sold long ago probably how it was acquired for the fighter's academy long ago.

I added RiverGreenForest to the game to take over McTavish since wolfpack had to take a leave from the forums.

Just FYI things got a little crazy for me at work had "covid positive" cases with some students apparently so full remote and I'm the tech support. So my posting might be a bit more inconsistent. But rest assured I am still going to keep the game moving after all I am not 24/7 tech support only hourly from 7 to 3. :)
