Shade
Shade moves into the room and converts his staff to a club. Then whacks at the abomination.
[1d20+1] = 7+1 = 8 Club
Missing he changes it back into a staff.

Uther
Carefully weighing the options, and seeing Yagul taking heavy damage from the insane 4-armed Skeletor, Uther will cast Magic Missile if he gets a clear line of sight.

Ferris
The cackling laughter of the skeleton almost freezes him in fear but the doughty gnome has a strong resilience and remains unshaken.
Ferris saving throw vs paralysis [1d20] = 14 vs 14
Still he has few melee options so fires his crossbow from under the table. Another bolt plinks into the ceiling.

Monty
Save versus Paralysis [1d20+2] = 12+2 = 14
Well that's a bonus and she is switching to both her blades figuring she might at least do more damage that way.
Putting her staff away, she unsheathes her two blades and approaches the skeleton. Turning to Yagul "Well done, my friend!
It appears I need more practice with my quarterstaff," she laughs.

Uther
Save v Par (14) [1d20] = 3
An eerie chill rises up through Uther's spine as he freezes in place, paralyzed by the unholy Thing's cry, his mouth locked open in a silent scream...

Ferris
Goes over to sort through the bones of the creature trying to understand its construction.
"A golem?" he suggests. He looks at the swords and axes, checking for any runes and engravings to indicate some extra value. On a whim he examines the skull, never know he might find some gold teeth to pull.

Re: Part 1: Fighters Academy (IC Section 1)
Alas Yorick only had a couple silver molars. Nothing appears to be special about the four weapons he had either they were all just really nice looking swords. Oddly enough Ferris finds a piece of paper on one of the rib bones looks like a very faded paper that had some sort of large number in gold pieces listed on it strange.

Re: Part 1: Fighters Academy (IC Section 1)
Nothing secret or hidden the only other door in the room is the one the bone golem was guarding. Nothing of much value maybe the weapons the golem had as they are not rusted and in decent enough condition. (Basically they look as if maybe they are high quality but nothing marks them as magical at least that you can tell with the naked eye.)
Room Description: refresher
The chill in this room is almost as heavy as is the dust. Four wooden chairs surround a carved mahogany table. Overlooking the scene are more than a half dozen pairs of glass eyes, winking hack from the numerous stuffed boar, deer, and other animal heads on the south and east walls. A stuffed brown hear is frozen in a snarling charge; it stands in the southeast corner.
Items Golem Had
a sword (Scimitar), a hand axe, a mace (footman's mace), and another sword (khopesh)

The Paladin has a look at the piece of paper, hoping to maybe decipher its meaning.

Re: Part 1: Fighters Academy (IC Section 1)
it looks to have been some sort of tag with a price on it and faded words "Sold" appears the golem was sold to the person that bought it for the fighter's academy.
