Frank should currently be at 38 Sanity. I forgot to add his points for slaying the monster. He’s on the fast track to Crazytown!

I’m fine with firing the warning shot, but there are at least 100 cultists to account for. I’m not sure what our next move should be, but if we wait too much longer, we run the risk of the cultists completing their ritual and awakening something even worse.

We’re in a tight spot that’s for sure.

After re-reading more closely, I think we should try to skirt around the perimeter of the ceremony. I don’t think we can account for all of these cultists, and the one we really want is Carcosa. Not trying to metagame, but I think we should follow Agent Skinner’s visions of Carcosa. They might be illusionary, but I think it’s our best bet. Keeper Grog, shoot this down if it’s too meta.

It’s possible that the crystal has enabled Frank to see Carcosa’s glowing form. Should he grab the machine gun, wait for him to come around in the circle, and open fire?

Thanks all for sticking with the campaign and its conclusion. It has been very satisfying and fun exploring Lovecraftian themes and settings in the course of this long campaign. You all played well in what was a complex investigation. We have all written a novel if one were to put all this together.

If you enjoyed the topic, I highly recommend Alan Moore's 12-part Providence series.

Thanks for an excellent campaign. This was my first game after returning to RPGs from a long hiatus, and what a way to come back! I appreciate all the effort put forth in creating a very memorable game.
