We are using the Dungeon Crawl Classics (DCC) rules for this game. Purchase from your favorite retailer. I also can discuss the rules you need in this game if that's an issue.

Casting this spell clears the caster’s mind and prepares him to channel further energy. For 1d4
rounds after the spell is cast, the wizard receives a +4 bonus to other spell checks. This effect does not stack
with itself.
