Sarin falls in line and follows the others down the stairs.

You travel down the staircase as it spirals on and on, both sides of the stairway covered with scenes of hellish death and torture.



300 feet you descend until the stairs end in a 50 x 50 room. Inside the room scattered in no distinct pattern are statues of twisted creatures.

Hildr searches the room, checking for illusions first. "Disgusting."

Xanthe searches the room, focusing on looking for ways in and out, including secret/concealed.

Storm makes a sign to ward off evil. Twisted cultists perhaps. Or demonic entities themselves. There is a true evil here. Let us be wary.

The small elf waits in line to move forwards once more, staff held ready, dagger and wand within easy reach of his belt pouch.

Sarin searches the area. "Vile and this coming from a not so overly religious person. I find the artwork vile and disgusting."

Balasar searches around the room as well. "Hmm well like most things all is in the eye of the beholder, though it is rather vile I will agree there. Must have been a madman doing the artistry."

Storm sucks in through his teeth. Be wary. There is a dark enticing power in this depravity. One that would swallow us all if we aren’t vigilant. Let us proceed with caution.
