Searching the Thoul's Room

Egon searches the sack pile and the wood pile he finds stuck in with the wood a staff. He cannot tell much about it other than it looks like a staff made of white ash staff, with inlaid silver runes. In the sack pile is found 80p, 60ep, and 60gp, a comb made of ivory with jet inlays, and a bottle of green liquid. Other than that the sack pile smells as if it was the bed for the Thoul.

Weston

"We should take the creatures weapons and armour as well, they might still be worth something to somebody if not magical. Does anyone know how to harvest those glands from the beetles? They may be worth something to an alchemist. We should check the room for secret door, unless this is the last of the complex. I was expecting to get some indication of what the great evil the orcs released was, but it seems not."

Weston will cast Detect Magic and check the items just found (and any others we haven't check over that we've found down here, from the giant and the derro)

Weston after examining their loot with his spell, Weston looks up at the others with a look of surprise

"Interesting, the sword is not magical, but the scabbard is, most unusual. The staff is magical too.

Ed, once all treasure coins are done I'd like to add this level to our Treasure Sheet like last time. Since we should be heading to town it woul;d be a good time to divvy it all up there and also have anything magical identified.

That is fine by me. There is nothing more found in any more searching. The thoul's armor counts as regular leather armor just made of sort of bright colored other armors or clothing stitched together. The scimitar is a higher quality scimitar well polished it only gives a +1 bonus to hit and is not magical.

The only thing I would say is that we should try and harvest the beetle glands if we can.

After searching the room and the defeated Weston and Delsenora work together and succeed in harvesting the glow glands from the 2 dead beetles they note that even removed from the beetles they remain glowing but do not burn as they look like they would. (being that they glow like fire.) 4 glands are successfully harvested. Back tracking to where the ghouls were the group finds all sorts of fallen rock that was not there before and they open the secret door that lead back to the chaotic priest of Moander to find it entirely collapsed and there is no way to get back to the priests rooms. So with that the group leaves the dungeon behind after giving their fallen a proper burial and returns to the town where things are still bustling with activity of the festival that is on it's finial day/night of celebration. (Think county fair but one that only happens for say a weekend.) There are many new faces in the town but two of note are two adventurer looking folk that Haribal informs you about. "They showed up at the tavern and then went to speak with Alaric the high priest you rescued. You may want to go check the temple and see if they are still there." the halfling tells you and gives a description of the two, one a female gray elf a sultry redhead in a robe with a backpack can be seen. You can also see a composite longbow and quiver of arrows. She looks sturdy despite her feminine curves, and a male sylvan elf that looks to be a mage or wizard of sorts.
