Operation: Unfathomable! Day 4; time unknown
The last acolyte, limping and terrified, makes a break for the northern door.

Flinging open the door, he sees several decapitates marching down the corridor. "Sweet Oblivion!" cries the grey humanoid, running to them, "The prisoners have gone mad! They killed Chief Surgeon Dr. Nul’s-Steady-Hand! You must destroy them!"

The decapitates, never much for nuance, and operating on some general orders yelled at them back in the main body of the temple, do not distinguish the acolyte and their targets. With a single blow, the last acolyte is slain by his purported rescuers.

The decapitates march on.

They'll enter the room, next round! You have time to take an action before then.
Initiative: [1d6] = 2Enemy goes first.
Attacks of Opportunity don't seem to exist in Knave as written, but we could institute them, if anyone would like. I kind if miss them, myself.

Thunk is not satisfied with this salon. He will not be coming back, and he will tell all his friends about the bad service!

Holding the totem between him and the headless men, Thunk tries to retreat through the south door.

Operation: Unfathomable! Day 4; time unknown
Thunk throws open the south door and flees. Dr. Gori and Krodok follow.

Wither is left in a heap, on the floor of the operating room. Tarka is a similar heap in the northern corridor.

The door leads to a room almost exactly like the one you just left—same dimensions, same white tile walls, same lighting. But instead of surgical tables along the west wall, there are beds along both walls. The eight beds each contains a decapitate, hooked up to bladders of intravenous liquids. In the northwest corner of the room is a large vat of liquid, connected via tubes to the individual bladders for each decapitate.

Also in this room is a rack of weapons: 12 glaives, 8 scimitars, 6 short bows, 100 arrows.

The decapitates in the beds do not respond in any way to your entrance.

Dr. Gori recognizes one of the decapitates as the body of Urethria, the Nul Priestess who had threatened the party on the Devil's Highway.

Dr. Gori takes the spell book, and shout to his comrade "kick!, lets turn this table to make a barrier!" he than instruct to shoot some arrows at them, and to use the most powerful weapons in this room!
Also, after turning the table, he will try the spell book on the decapitates

A few points of clarification:
Wither's spellbooks are in a sack in the operating room you just left. Or do you mean the scroll?

There is no table in the room you are presently in, although there are beds.

Which weapon does Gori consider to be the most powerful?

Thunk looks with dismay at the metal tools. So fragile-looking. So not-made-by-him. How can you trust a weapon made by someone whose life doesn't depend on it working right?

Still, any pike in a storm. He grabs a pointy stick thing (glaive) and turns back towards the door.

"Thunk not die in here!" he answers Gori. "Thunk die out there!"

He points the dead hairdresser's totem at the pointy-headed armored men and...does whatever it does. Then he charges forward, pointy-stick-thing swinging.

"Shoot, that crazy ape man!"
Gori goes after him, but stop at the door. He then uses his scroll against one of the antena guys

Operation: Unfathomable! Day 4; time unknown

Thunk and Krodok exchange skeptical sneers over the weapons rack as they both reluctantly take up the prissy weapons of civilization. Still, while obviously inferior to good old stone, the glaives have a pleasing heft to them—especially after using flimsy surgical tools. Thunk can't actively hold the magical device and wield the glaive. However, in his fiddling with it, he does feel confident that he could activate it. He also gets the sense that whatever its effect is, that it is broadly direction in its emanation.

Dr. Gori attempts to use the scroll that so neatly relieved the acolyte of his head, earlier, but finds that its magic is exhausted for the day.

The two neanderthals charge into the operating room with 4 decapitates in it. The decapitates are caught briefly off-guard, and Thunk delivers a serious blow to one of them. However, the headless soldiers do not break, and are able to quickly react to the attack. Thunk and Krodok find the glaives to be admirable defensive weapons, however, and are able to keep the decapitates at bay.
ACTIONS! We're in the middle of a round, so feel free to post your response to their attack, and what you intend to do on the next round.

"Stupid magik!"
DrGori will get a bow, if he thinks he can fire safely (not hitting his allies). If not, he will take a glaive and charge

Thunk swings the makeshift not-stone weapon at another headless man.

Glaive: [1d20+5] = 8+5 = 13; dmg. [1d10] = 6

Thunk uses the confusion to sneak out, somehow eluding all the headless and other foes in the temple. Once he's in the less dangerous areas of the Underworld, he resumes his search dor a good hairdresser.
