Glad you're back.
Hope you had a great time!

Re: Group 2: OOC I
I can see how having multiple characters in the same campaign might be a little confusing, so I've gone ahead and created a second campaign, leaving me with two:dmw71 wrote:I think, for now, I'm just going to try throwing everyone into a single campaign to see how that works.
If you have more than one character, and want to keep them separated, feel free to move your second character accordingly.

I believe I am up and running.
Re: Group 2: OOC I
Just an FYI...
I'm in a serious rut right now.
I've been able to bring myself to check into the site here regularly, and have checked into my games, but haven't been able to bring myself to even start working on actually updating them.
For whatever reason, my motivation for gaming seriously lacking right now.
So, I guess, just be aware that things are kind of slow right now for a reason, but hopefully it won't last much longer.

Ruts happen to all of us. The beauty of PbP is that you can pick things up when it works for you. So take it easy, let the creative juices restock, and know that we'll be here when you're ready!

I couldn't say it better myself. I agree and have been the same myself Dave.Pulpatoon wrote:Ruts happen to all of us. The beauty of PbP is that you can pick things up when it works for you. So take it easy, let the creative juices restock, and know that we'll be here when you're ready!

This, sadly, hasn't really changed.dmw71 wrote:I'm in a serious rut right now.
That said, I just put in for some time off from work -- the rest of this week plus next Monday -- to give myself a nice little break, and a chance to recharge. I'm hopeful that I can get all my games up and running again over the next few days, or in time for the start of next week.
Re: Group 2: OOC I
Just call a break or something if you're that bad, man.
Worst thing you can do is force yourself to do something that's supposed to be fun when you don't want to; burnout is sadly very real.

Re: Group 2: OOC I
I agree with this as well. I was in a big rut it's whittled down a bit and actually today got a bit better. But I still get or at least can relate Dave take a break if you need it. We can always revive the game later on when you are good and ready for it.Faanku wrote:Just call a break or something if you're that bad, man.

Re: Group 2: OOC I
I'm not ready to scrap everything just yet. I know how difficult it is to reboot a game once it's been sitting too long.
I'm planning to apply myself during this upcoming break and see if the muse strikes.
I'm hoping.

Are the bad guys all human? Is there any light other than from Dureau's spell?
Sometimes this summer I will most likely be participating in another 24 hour game of Dungeons & Dragons as part of Extra Life. This organization uses gaming to help raise money to donate to children's hospitals. I'm raising money for Marshfield Children's Hospital in Marshfield, WI, and all money I raise will go to that hospital. All donations are tax-deductible. Please take a moment to check out my donation page below. Thank you.

Re: Group 2: OOC I
Good question though i am wondering where is everyone else? I only see 5 pc's on the map? Thought we had 6 of us or so? Or is the bird one of us just shapeshifted? Wait nevermind the bird is a familiar thats right....and it's in the end "signature" of the posts. Thought we did have more than just 5 of us but guess i am wrong as i see it only shows 5 PCs in the same ending of the posts. Bummer wish group 1 was here too.

Yes, they're all human.Scott308 wrote:Are the bad guys all human? Is there any light other than from Dureau's spell?
No, there isn't any other source of light. The cultists had the area set up for the ambush, so the area was kept as dark as possible.
Re: Group 2: OOC I
I'm sorry, guys. I think it's time that I finally admit that my games need to formally be archived. I have too much else going on and my motivation just isn't there.
I'm choosing to archive my games (not complete them) as I'm sure, at some point in the future, my availability and drive will be return... it's just not there now. Having these games continuing to linger is causing me stress, and it's not fair for everyone to keep stringing you along.
I'm not going to be dropping off the map completely, as I will still check into the boards for admin purposes and the like, I'm just not in the mindset for actual gaming.
Apologies again.
