At Miskatonic University in Arkham, Dr. Clarke makes his way to Asenaith Waite's room.



Dr. Clarke finds Asenaith dead. Edith Walton accuses him of murder. The police appear suspiciously quick.


During questioning, Edith Walton is shaken and hostile.

Dr. Clarke is questioned at Arkham Police station by Detective Bloch.



He spends the night in a cell.

Dr. Frank Morgan escorts Edith back to her home in the rain.





Edith's house. Frank is invited inside.



Edith, Dr. Clarke's paramour, makes untoward advances on Frank.

Meanwhile, in Providence, Reginald Wilkins and Marius Albertoni are followed on their way to the Brown Derby restaurant.



They set a trap for their tail.



Reginald and Marius beat and interrogate the suspected cultist.
