Re: OOC I
Awesome roll. A sorcerer with 18 hit points at 2nd level is impressive.
Re: OOC I
Not bad.
24 hit points it is.

Re: OOC I
On November 2nd I will be participating in another 24 hour game of Dungeons & Dragons as part of Extra Life. This organization uses gaming to help raise money to donate to children's hospitals. I'm raising money for Marshfield Children's Hospital in Marshfield, WI, and all money I raise will go to that hospital. All donations are tax-deductible. Please take a moment to check out my donation page below. Thank you.

Re: OOC I
Isn't this 8 hp, for a total of 18? Where's the +4 from?
Re: OOC I
Nice roll, but please see question in your private forum.
Re: OOC I
I asked the same question in his private forum, and we'll clarify things there.drpete wrote:Isn't this 8 hp, for a total of 18? Where's the +4 from?
I think it's a simple mistake, but there's always a chance I'm missing something (I'll admit, trying to stay on top of the changes for 11 characters all at once has been a lot).
Re: OOC I
My day was thrown off by taking a personal day from work to deal with a family situation, but I'm working on the updates for both groups now and should have them posted shortly.

Re: OOC I
Dave, you don't have Dureau's Channel Divinity actions for 2nd level in his footer.

I screwed things up majorly while tinkering with this, which ultimately led me to rework your section. Essentially, I combined your regular cleric features and your domain features into the same list, listed by level (they used to be separate).Scott308 wrote:Dave, you don't have Dureau's Channel Divinity actions for 2nd level in his footer.
I'm pretty sure I got everything, and all the formatting is fixed, but take a look and let me know if I'm still missing anything.
Re: OOC I
Yesterday was super busy during the day, then I had my in-person game last night (my character -- a 9th level wizard -- was killed (again) and raised (again). While we're not quite finished with everything, the finale of the hardcover we've been working through will be held in two weeks, which is pretty exciting. There's also a chance we'll have a new player for this final session, which will be really cool.
Our DM is starting something new after that, which means new characters, so I need to start investing some time exploring a few character concepts I'm considering.
Anyway, with today being Friday, I'm not going to kill myself to get updates out today (but I will try). If not, definitely this weekend. Sorry for the delay.

Excited to play with you in person! Belladonna, my acolyte rogue assassin of Anubis, won’t let you die again! For whatever reason my God is not ready to usher your soul to the Underworld!
Re: OOC I
I'm not worried about my character; I'm just going to feel bad for you, and for Karl, who's also set to bring in a new character for a single (deadly) session.BearSiren817 wrote:Excited to play with you in person! It'll be fun!

I am thinking of splitting this game into two -- one for Group 1, the other for Group 2. I had to do something earlier on the D&D Beyond website, and it kind of makes sense to do that here as well.
Part of my reason for keeping everything nested together under this one forum was because I could anticipate the potential for a player needing/wanting to shift from one group to another. This, I suppose, is still a possibility, but an unlikely one (and, with my nifty admin powers, I can still accommodate a request like that if needed).
It's going to require a bit of work on my end to shuffle things around, but I'm thinking it will be worth it in the end. I can't remember who it was (BearSiren817, I think) that asked if you could subscribe to notifications for the entire game (and not need to go into just the topics set up for the group you're in), which wasn't possible. If I go ahead and make this change, now that (e.g. subscribe to the entire forum) would definitely be possible. Plus, while it's not a huge thing (now), it would also decrease the chance of accidentally reading what's taking place with the other group, and limit temptation to purposely do so.
I will probably go ahead and make this change tonight if/when I'm confident I know how to shuffle everything around (I think I know what needs to be done, but my biggest question surrounds how to move the individual private forums over from this game to a new one).
This will mainly impact those players in Group 2 (sorry, guys!), but I expect it to be a relatively smooth transition.

Re: OOC I
This is done.
For this group, there should not be any change... except one. I've decided I do not want to manually track experience points, so I'm going to have everyone switch from 'XP' to 'Milestone' in their "Advancement Type" option.
This can be accomplished by following these steps:
