A 200 ton free trader is probably too small to have a full machine shop. CNC would be reasonable for whatever tooling there is.

Ana, Andy and Foix all have full sets of tools and we’ve got a container lid for scrap for building our stands. It’s likely to be all hands on construction, who’s ready yo have their welding skills evaluated?

While Foix is strong and has a good coordination he has no mechanical skill so will therefore limit himself to advising on the technical gunsmithing aspects of bang stick construction.

However, he's more than happy to assist where he can as welder's mate / hod carrier.

I think Foix's idea makes sense, we should be able to assemble most of it right here, and all we really need at the site are a few sets of hands to clamp everything down and make sure we're getting clean readings."

Ana nods, My concern with the sensors is they’ll be pretty fisheye as is and not knowing how big the top of that pillar is exactly we might loose coverage. The sensors themselves are cheap and easy to make, it’s the brain that’s going to be the problem.

Rappeling down would probably be safer, but you could do a hover and step maneuver on an exposed bit of rock. That would surely require a Pilot skill check.

Squee will also offer that her grav belt has enough extra lift to carry one person at a time (or all the diving gear in one load).
