Until they are engaged in melee, Angus can move freely through the party members. Please give initiative on shutting the door.

Angus charges the orcs, almost relieved to have finally found orcs in the orc hole.

SNAKE! Hyde's eyes go wide as he fumbles with Angus, both trying to slam the door in the most effective manner.

ORCS! The short Half-Orc calls out in surprise as he turns. Angus wastes no time in charging the monsters Dandelion stands to repel, and he understands the Ranger's plan. He barrels around the opposite side of the party toward the oncoming fray, his battle cry deafening all. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! You Orcs! We be gonna kill you all, yeahh! Tho he speaks in Orcish, he feels certain his tribe comprehends.

Flattens himself against the wall to let those charging into danger go by. "Rock and a hard place!" He looks at the door, which way does it swing... into the snake room or into the hall they are in? If it swings in he will try to brace the door against the snake pushing it open, if not then he will ready a dart in case it is needed. "I have a spell that might be of use... but you won't want to be close by if I cast it! It immits a noxious cloud of gas... much like Hyde after eating that chicken the other night... but concentrated in a specific area. It should disable those caught in it and make them easy prey!"

Yes, but with someone—usually Hyde—running pell mell at the enemies. The enemies all gang up on whoever runs at them, which bunches them up nice and tight for a sleep AoE.
It usually knocked the runner out, too, but if you put enough people to sleep it didn't matter. Now that we've leveled a bit, a snooze missile might not even put Hyde or Angus to sleep, if enough lower-level enemies were around.

"SNAKE!!!" yells Hyde in his inimitable way. He slams the door shut, and Kablamicus and Galan place their weight against it. It opens inward. They feel a heavy thump against the door, but hold it shut.
Two arrows whiz towards Dandelion. One plunks feet in front of her, snapping as it hits the hard stone floor. Another nicks the beauty queen's well-muscled arm -1 hp. Her hulking form bears down upon them, and she is joined by Angus, who places his bullseye lantern down first to illuminate the hallway heading south. Hyde is not far behind. Figgis hides against a wall in the north passage.
Yenny pulls a small vial of holy water and begins sprinkling it about, praying to Veles for his benediction. Sophomore squawks at the unwelcome moisture.
The trio streaks down the hallway. Angus and Dandelion cut down the orc archers with vicious strikes. Around the corner, our warriors see another 10 or so waiting to bring the fight, making many ribald comments regarding the promiscuity of Hyde and Dandelion's mothers. Angus' kin is not spared insults.
These orcs are different from the ones previously encountered. They are clad in better chain mail than is typical of the race, with their shoulder guards painted bright red. A particularly muscular orc at the back calls out gruffly. "Drop your arms and you won't be killed. Yet."
Date: 29 Culling, Year 44
Time: 6:41
Conditions: 44F, damp

Angus doesn't even acknowledge the orc's "offer." He stands far back enough back that the orcs in the hallway should not have a shot at him, and hews at the orcs before him. Let them come a few at a time, he thinks.

Not being able to learn sleep is a pretty big handicap at lower levels!

Bringing up the rear, Hyde's gravelly bellow reverberates back and forth off the walls of the narrow corridor. If he's able to get a thrust in between his good pals Dandelion and Angus, he will. Otherwise, he'll brandish his blade and share his own version of maternal unit-bashing with the Orcs.
