Re: OOC Chat
just fyi I'm not charging into the room merely just pressing Bror's attack to make very little room if someone wants to enter the room or leave it. I will make a tactical retreat as needed however bottle-necking the enemy in while we fight them in smaller numbers might be our saving grace here.

Considering a fireball's area of effect, we're probably better off without it in this tight space.badams30 wrote:OOC: That's all I've got. Maybe making them retch and barf is enough to slow them or whatever. Wish I had a nice fireball....

We'll see... 10 bugbears could get a bit ugly. But we've had some great fortune so far.Zhym wrote:Considering a fireball's area of effect, we're probably better off without it in this tight space.badams30 wrote:OOC: That's all I've got. Re: OOC Chat
I think if we can bottleneck them at the rooms door we can fight them more one at a time from the other side of the doorway. Kinda like leading a group down a single person alley.

Re: OOC Chat
It's been a long, rough week. Both at work and personally.
But thanks for the prompt, Zhym.

Skull Mountain, at this time, is much easier to adjudicate than this battle. I'm working on it...GreyWolfVT wrote:hmm are we going to update here soon or only in the skull mountain one?

What's so hard about it? "Bugbears attack, everyone dies."
Re: OOC Chat
Fine. Bugbears attack. Everyone dies.
Next adventure? I hear "Arena of Thyatis & Legions of Thyatis" or "A Paladin in Hell" are fun

Re: OOC Chat
How about "Monty Haul's Castle of Wondrous Treasures and Artifacts Guarded by Exotic Yet Easily-Defeated Monsters?" I used to play that one all the time in junior high school.

Re: OOC Chat
Maybe we retreat and get them into the oil? Just a thought. At least were down to five.

Calmert thought the same thing, but then thought he'd rather not be the one announcing our strategy in front of the Bugbutts, so tried to help Sean from being flanked instead.spanningtree wrote:Maybe we retreat and get them into the oil? Just a thought. At least were down to five.
