Krk'Tah, Chief Administrator of Moon Base Gamma Niner
Image

A high ranking shareholder in PGC stock, Krk'Tah is an elegantly efficient administrator and bureaucrat. While she leaves the bulk of the Ark 7 operation in Frank Doyles capable hands, she always keeps a careful eye on things, ensuring that costs are being managed and objectives are being met. She rarely leaves the office, which serves as her personal command center, having aids fetch her food and drink as necessary, so as not to interrupt her work.

Lower ranking employees will rarely ever see Krk'Tah and, if they do, it may well bode ill for the person summoned to her office. Whether the employee subsequently receives an official reprimand or a fast track to a high paying promotion, the experience is sure to be an nerve jangling one. Despite her strict, no-tolerance attitude toward screw-ups, Krk'Tah cares about her employees, and is known to be willing to go to bat for her people, when push comes to shove.

Franklyn Doyle, Chief of Operations, Moon Base Gamma Niner
Image

A former UPF survey team commander, Frank retired from the scout service seven years ago, and hired on as a corporate agent with PGC. His skill, intelligence and drive quickly pushed him up the corporate ranks, until he managed to snag the post of Chief of Operations at Pan-Galactic Moon base G-9. His former experience at leading expeditions to explore new worlds, makes him the perfect man for the job. Doyle is the highest ranking corporate representative that most employees will deal with on a regular basis.

S'lasth, Chief of Security, Moon Base Gamma Niner
Image

Something of a mystery, this S'sessu is an old friend of Krk'Tah, who appointed him to the position of Chief of Security for Moon Base G-9. This is the only instance where the Administrator and the Chief of Operations were known to publicly disagree; Doyle had another person in mind for the position, but Krk'Tah pulled rank and vetoed his choice, giving S'lasth the job, instead.

She gave no explanation for her decision, and refused to offer one, when Doyle asked her about it directly. Understandably, this has put something of a strain on their relationship, although Doyle is too much of a professional to broach the topic in public. But the rumor mill has turned, and this is now a publicly known piece of gossip.

For this reason (and for the unfortunate fact of his appearance), many people regard the security chief with thinly veiled suspicion. S'lasth, with his harsh, ruthless execution of his duties and cold, stand-offish demeanor, does nothing to allay such suspicions. Still, no one can deny that the S'sessu is remarkably effective at his job.

Special Agent Blurg Shloob, PGC Intelligence Division
Image

A corporate “spook”, Shloob is even more of a mystery than S'lasth, and may well be the highest ranking person on the station. No one knows exactly what the dralasites official position is. But most people suspect he monitors and reports on developments in the Ark 7 operation, to the bigwigs in on the PGC board of directors. Certainly, he spends a great deal of time watching surveillance satellite feeds of the moons surface, and pouring over S.E.T team reports, or examining artifacts brought back for study.

Blurg is something of an oddball. He has developed an affectation for human fashion and vices, and is never seen without his trademark fedora and trench coat. The dralasite is also a notorious chain smoker. His peculiar physiology means that when he exhales, the tobacco fumes are expelled from every surface of his body. Because of this, the reek of old, stale tobacco clings to him everywhere he goes. Blurg can be forgiven for this, seeing that he has the most stressful job of perhaps any sentient in the galaxy.

Gryff McTaggert, Supply Officer, Moon Base Gamma Niner
Image

A former gunnery sergeant in the UPF marines, Gryff is a battle-hardened combat veteran. He served during the last Sathar War, racking up over fifty kills to his name, at least a quarter of which were delivered at the tip of his vibro-blade. The gravelly voiced ex-marine is well liked by most of the residents of G-9, and is faithful and efficient in the execution of his duties, though his plain speaking, no BS manner doesn't appeal to everyone.

Gryff is well known to have a powerful dislike for Chief of Security S'lasth, who he openly refers to as “The Worm”. When the Administrator announced that she was appointing the S'sessu to the position, McTaggert nearly resigned, but was persuaded by Franklyn Doyle to remain on staff, and only Doyles exceptional charisma and McTaggerts respect for the man, has kept him from retiring.

Chief Physician Gina Song, Moon Base Gamma Niner
Image

A plain, but pleasant-faced, Asian woman, Song is a Xenobiologist of exceptional talent and one of the most brilliant individuals in frontier space. Serving as Chief Physician for G-9, she is compassionate, hard working, and unrelentingly curious, doing research in her corporate funded lab, twelve hours out of every twenty. She has already made several ground breaking discoveries in the pharmaceutical field, using biological samples taken from Ark 7's surface.

Anyone who suffers sufficiently grievous injury on a survey mission, or who contracts some exotic disease from Ark 7's environment, may have opportunity to encounter the doctor. Most of the time, however, she is sequestered quietly away in her lab, pursuing her work, and is too occupied with her research to be disturbed.
