Ok- just a topic for discussion (I'd bring it up IC, but Luther's busy and I'll forget before the fight's over).

What do we really know about the Grey Man? Is it possible that he's actually one of the good guys, and has been doing stuff to try and keep people out of danger? Like the bit with the kids: that could have been a way to distract them until help arrived.

OTOH: The Tree People mentioned some wizard who was one of the first arrivals- maybe this is him.

black + white = grey. :D

I promise that some of this stuff will start making sense REAL soon.

You guys are actually doing AWESOME and I don't want anyone to think that this whole adventure is nothing more than oddball random occurrences.

For what it's worth, Lightfinger has been searching for an old Man, Wizard-type, since the day of arrival. Could be 2 completely separate individuals, but it may be worth noting.

I brought the monkoon thread and the sea troll thread back up into the fold for easier access.

I will be taking down the Beetle Juice thread once all of that action is wrapped up.

If anyone is looking for something specific to do, I can list a few of the things I have heard mentioned so far.

Cut open the bugs to see if the acid can be harvested. (good luck with that)

Find out if there are any means around for storing, carrying, and/or utilizing the acid?

Heal up and do some magical experimentation.

Try to contact the Monkoons again. (Treefolk)

Check on Owen to see if he is still alive up there.

Kill the Sea Troll.

Look around for the other adventuring party.

Find out more about this little grey man that was playing music for the children.

Go back up the loggers trail to check on the dynamic duo of Bert and Ernie.

Search for Harold, the old grey haired wizard that Lightfinger met during the zombie attack on day one.

Find out more about the sudden influx of dwarves that are coming to the island.

Clear out more land for farming. (on hold)

Start up a saw mill and begin milling lumber for building. (pending)

Did I forget anything? :D

The day's rough activities have taken a toll on his appearance, but he finally shrugs and enters the Hi-lo. After all, it's only Nalissa. Whew! What a day! The Hobbit announces his presence to anyone already there. Bugs! Big, hideous bugs that can melt a Man with acid from their bum. Did you catch that? Melt a Man! Luckily for my friends, my swordsmanship saved the day, yet again.
ROFL!

Only other thing I can think of is finding out what happened to the dwarves and where'd the go?
