Oh, nothing wrong with a grunt, just I know if I had rolled those stats I would not have tried for a grunt service... He has a -2 penalty with his rifle and SMG due to low DEX. Yea, one of the cool things is the generator, if not used to roll until you find something you like, actually makes even more of a "play what the dice give you" feel than rolling by hand. With that, I think when used properly, the various "cheaty" options I added keep that ideal while allowing quick generation of a character that meets a specific need. So yea, the scout with a ship rolled up by the generator didn't take much time to generate, but he also has more randomness in skill selection. Much less cheaty than rolling until you find a scout with a ship and particular skills and good stats that one might be inclined to do if just hitting refresh until you get what you want.Ramona wrote:Oh ya, that is a painfully low str... I've seen an amazing number of 6 and 7 term scouts, while with a good selection of cheaty options, you are much more likely to get a 4 term scout with a ship (and I've even seen 1 and 2 term scouts). And before I added options to control the selection of benefits, at minimum a scout with a ship was 4 terms (because the first 3 mustering out rolls were always taken on the cash table), and probably not very likely until 6-7 terms.
