Mehath drops his heavy crossbow and draws his sword and dagger. He then advances on S1. As he does so he shouts, beware the boulders it looks like they may be illusions!

If allowed an attack this round. Long Sword, to hit [1d20+4] = 10+4 = 14, damage [1d8+4] = 7+4 = 11

Not quite. You can reach as far as Flynn and the cart in the center of the boulders. It will take another turn to reach melee range with the spell casters.

Elethil puts his bow on his back, draws his sword, and charges at one of the spellcasters.

Long sword (THAC0 16): [1d20+7] = 5+7 = 12, Dmg: [1d8+9] = 2+9 = 11 (S/M) [1d12+9] = 2+9 = 11 (L)
Roll doesn't reflect another +2 to hit for charging.

"My turn." says Flynn as he lashes at a interloper.
Rapier (thac0 13) [1d20+3] = 9+3 = 12 damage: [1d6+3] = 2+3 = 5

Elithil doesn't waste any time with arrow play. He switches to his blade and makes use of his muscular stature. He charges one of the spellcasting brigands and cuts him down in one arcing slice. Flynn's flurry of steel flashes once more as he performs a strike of the rapier after two ripostes, all the while taunting his opponents, in signature fashion. Mehath, too, joins the fray, following Elithil's example and drops his crossbow in favor for a sword and dagger. He slices at the weakened sword-wielding brigand and finds that his hit connects. Akabel rushes past the others and closes the distance between himself and the last standing spellcaster.

Eric keeps his distance and starts to perform a short spurt of somatic and verbal gestures, holding some sort of druidic material in his hand. The observant will notice that one of the swords being held by the brigands starts to emit an orangish glow (S2). The IronGlade man, stunned by the sudden appearance of men from stones, gathers his senses and charges into battle as well, swinging his short sword at S2. The attack connects.

The last spellcaster doesn't have time to run as he sees Elithil and Akabel rush past the cart. Thinking quickly, the brigand touches his thumbs together and shouts a strange sounding word. A sheet of flames explodes from his fingers and slam into Akabel, dealing 3 points of fire damage (no saving throw applies).

The two sword-wielding brigands fight back against their foes. S1 responds to the taunt, infuriated that he missed the first time, and cuts Flynn for 5 points of damage, finding an opening during Flynn's attack. S2 also shows that he is not to be trifled with, but is distracted by the IronGlade man's attack. Unfortunately, that means the long sword finds its way to him instead of Flynn. The IronGlade man takes 5 points of cutting damage as well.

One spellcaster remains, as well as the two sword-wielding brigands in iron armor. And now back to you guys!

I will update the battle image this weekend, but for quick reference see spoiler 1
Elithil is right in front of where F1 once stood. Akabel is in front of F2. Flynn and Mehath are both on S1's left and right, respectively. Ironglade man is in front of S2. Eric's position has not changed.
Combat rolls below
IronGlade Man to hit roll [1d20] = 11
Short Sword damage roll [1d6] = 6

S1 to hit roll against Flynn [1d20] = 18
Long Sword damage roll Longsword attack [1d8] = 5

S2 to hit roll against IronGlade Man [1d20] = 18
Long Sword damage roll Longsword attack [1d8] = 5

Flynn cringes from the blow but looks up and smiles.
"So it's to be the dance of death then is it?"
He swings his rapier in a tight circle and thrusts. "You were warned."

: Rapier (thac0 13) [1d20+3] = 8+3 = 11 damage: [1d6+3] = 5+3 = 8

Elethil attacks the remaining spellcaster with the flat of his blade, hoping to knock him out and leave him alive for questioning.

Long sword (THAC0 16): [1d20+7] = 9+7 = 16, Dmg: [1d8+9] = 2+9 = 11 (S/M) [1d12+9] = 6+9 = 15 (L)
Long sword (THAC0 16): [1d20+7] = 8+7 = 15, Dmg: [1d8+9] = 5+9 = 14 (S/M) [1d12+9] = 5+9 = 14 (L)

Eric does the dance with the foolish soldier holding on to his sword. He drops into full defence, forgoing an attack in the interest of buying a round.

The remaining spellcaster couldn't escape Elithil's attack, even if he wanted to. The elven warrior was experienced in combat and knew to use the flat of his blade to keep the criminal alive for questioning, and the spellcaster, in turn, collapses to the ground upon impact. S1 is overwhelmed by Flynn and Mehath's assault, eventually falling to Mehath's blade.

The remaining sword-wielding bandit struggles against the Iron Glade Man, and so does the Iron Glade Man himself. Both swing their blades and both miss wildly. It is shortly after S2's whiff that his blade starts to heat up rapidly. The sudden pang of sharp heat causes him to lose grip on his sword, causing it to slide across the dirt path, well behind the Iron Glade Man.

Akabel, seeing the last bandit disarmed, uses this opportunity to rush over to Flynn and perform some magic of his own, the good kind. Laying a hand on Flynn, a warm light shines underneath and miraculously starts to mend the sword wound shut.

One enemy remains, wounded and disarmed, another is left unconscious and thoroughly beaten. You all may post when ready!

Combat rolls below
Iron Glade Man's attack roll [1d20] = 2

S2 attack roll [1d20] = 1

Heat Metal round 2 damage [1d4] = 1

Akabel's Cure Light Wounds [1d8] = 4 on Flynn

Flynn is somewhat shocked by the magic use as his wounds close. He looks in awe at the caster then comes to his senses.
He points his blade at the remaining unarmed combatant and then to the ground. "Knees. Now.

Elethil quickly moves to tie up the unconscious spell caster.

"Stay alert," he tells the others. "If those rocks are illusions, someone may still be around keeping the illusions active."

Mehath

Make sure you gag the spell caster, just in case. he then starts to patrol the area and look for anything that seems unusual or out of place.

The last criminal gets on his knees and puts his hands up. He hangs his head low and curses under his breath. The Iron Glade Man starts to bind the kneeling man, following Elithil's example. "Eh, I don't really think scum like this deserves to live, but if you think you can get anything out of him...." The man just shrugs afterward and walks over to the heated blade. You can see him crouch down and observe it more closely. "More strange magic. I don't like it."

As Mehath explores the area, he remembers that the boulders didn't seem quite right, reinforcing Elithil's idea that illusions may indeed be at work. If an elf says that someone is using magic, then it must be so, right? 8-)
