Inbox/Sent Items Folder - suggestion
Curious as I keep cleaning up old PM's is there at all a method or possibility to add a option/button to just simply empty the sent items folder? Currently I have to search and filter or just keep marking all and delete all marked for 77 pages of sent items anything I want to keep is already sorted into a separate folder. Also was curious if we can get more folders? Or am I the only goof that is organizing my PM's?
Just general feedback/suggestion I'm perhaps treating this too much like an email system.

All jokes aside, I've never been a big fan of the PM and mailbox system, and only use it sparingly. I did however create an 'Important' folder. Everything else I just leave in my Inbox. I just looked, and realize there's a 2,500 message limit per mailbox. Unless there's a limit on how many mailboxes you can create, I would think just creating new ones once you reach (or near) that 2,500 message should suffice.
Greg may have other ideas, though.

Re: Inbox/Sent Items Folder - suggestion
There is apparently a limit of only 4 folders and being a goober I made them by "person" Author/Username so kinda ran out since I have a lot from more than 5 different folks on here regarding past and present games that I'm attempting to hold onto. Just because I'm a doofus

Sounds like you might need a new system of organizing your messages.GreyWolfVT wrote:There is apparently a limit of only 5 folders...

Yeah I'm thinking that too
5 folders if you count the inbox.
However a delete all or empty folder button/option would be nice at least on the sent items.

Re: Inbox/Sent Items Folder - suggestion
This is not an option but I have temporarily set the boards to display 250 messages per page. That should make it a lot easier to use the 'mark all' at the bottom of each page, and then 'delete marked'. Let me know when you've done it so I can go back to the previous setting of 25 per page.GreyWolfVT wrote:Curious as I keep cleaning up old PM's is there at all a method or possibility to add a option/button to just simply empty the sent items folder? I see messages all the way back to October 2015 on the first page of my inbox now. LolToniXX wrote:...I have temporarily set the boards to display 250 messages per page.
Re: Inbox/Sent Items Folder - suggestion
If anybody else wants to take advantage of this, I'll leave it set at 250 per page for a couple more days.

I'm pretty much computer illiterate so don't laugh if this is a stupid question.
Does it help the system out any if we keep our PM cache cleared?
I have about 60 pages of them (well, 6 now) that I could go through sometime and clean up if that will help out at all.

That's a good question... I think that it is helpful but can't be sure. In the end, less items in the database is better. I say delete the ones that are at least a year old or more.OGRE MAGE wrote:I'm pretty much computer illiterate so don't laugh if this is a stupid question.

Thanks Greg!
That's all I needed to hear. In that case, I will get my PM's cleared out to only what I need and keep them that way.
