Hmmm... it will be longer (or, at the very least, as long) than him, too. Could he use it? Probably. Not as proficiently as he could a short sword, though.

So Tippin has 18 (13+5) and Keebler 20 (14+6)?

Just let me know their new totals (and be sure to deduct the amount taken from the amount available).

I thought they were both filling up their quivers. My count was that Tippin still had 15 arrows and Keebler 14.

Okay, here's a suggestion on what to do with the loot so far.

Stuff we can split now
Gold pieces: 18+49=67 / 7 = 9 each, 4 left over
Silver pieces: 19+46=65 / 7 = 9 each, 2 left over
Copper pieces: 37 / 7 = 5 each, 2 left over
Rations: 22 / 7 = 3 each, 1 left over

Other valuable stuff
Thieves tools
Fire beetle glands - 2

Weapons
Bow, long
Dagger: 2
Dagger, silver: 1
Hand axe
Quarterstaff
Arrows: 36 - 11 (Keebler & Tippin)

Useful stuff - take it if you need it
Candles: 10
Chain
Crowbar
Flint and steel: 3
Lock
Manacles
Oil, flask: 4
Paper, sheets: 4
Pouch, belt
Quill pen
Rope, 50' silk: 2
Sack, large: 8
Sack, small: 2
Scroll cases: 2
Torches: 21
Wolfsbane

Stuff that no one is likely to want or no one can use
Backpack: 3
Bedroll: 3
Blanket
Hobgoblin-sized Chain mail
Waterskin: 3
Leather armor, goblin-size: 4
Leather armor, hobgoblin-size: 2
Leather, human sized
Shield
Bow, short

Already Claimed
Chain mail (Tippin)

We could leave anything we don't want here (maybe we could find a way to put the lock on the door and use this as a store room?) and gather anything else valuable we can carry on the way to town to sell.

Keebler would upgrade to the long bow if no one else wants it. Edit: Keebler's the only survivor able to use a long bow. Claimed. I'll add it to his sheet.

Tippin would like at least some of the oil flasks. He'll also hold on to the thieves tools and one of the fire beetle glands if no one else wants to.

ETA:
Tippin: Added 9g 9s 5c 3 rations 1 thieves tools
Keebler: Added 9g 9s 5c 3 rations 1 longbow

As stated earlier, AdaRue will take a water skin, scroll cases, parchment and quills/ink, thoguh anyone is welcome to tap into them - just play it like it is a known thing and say you are using it in character.

AdaRue will grab the pouch of presumed sticky goo.

Her sheet has been updated with that stuff and the coins and rations listed by zhym. She is now just past 60 pounds, so her movement has droped to 60'.

That leaves about 15 pounds before she drops to an even slower movement, so whatever is left, she'll lug along. Ill ammend my sheet at that time.

I have no issue with Tippin taking oil and the thieves tools. Nor with Mila and Canun taking the things they stated earlier.

I refilled Junius's quiver, but to be honest I dont remember how many that would have required. I believe I was down from 13 to 10, so needed 10. It might have 11?

I had Tippin with 13. Possibly rolls I made for him?

Regardless, the 2 extra arrows will need to be removed from what's available (unless/until you're able to disprove my math).

Junius, by my count, was down to 11, so would require 9 to refill his quiver up to 20.

The total arrows claimed so far would be 22 (leaving 14 of the 36 available).

AdaRue had intended to keep searching the walls until she has gone the full perimeter, so unless Tippin is attacked by the trunk or its contents, you can just keep at that during her watch.

The loot so far:

Stuff we can split now - Tippin, Keebler, AdaRue, and Mila have done this. (Did I miss anyone?)

Gold pieces: 18+49=67 / 7 = 9 each, 4 left over
Silver pieces: 19+46=65 / 7 = 9 each, 2 left over
Copper pieces: 37 / 7 = 5 each, 2 left over
Rations: 22 / 7 = 3 each, 1 left over

Proposed Idea: Mila will put the leftover coins into the belt pouch and carry them until such time as there is either 1. sufficient coin in another grab to make an even number with for dividing, or 2. For in case there is an opportunity to buy something to benefit the party as a whole. I will keep track of it if you like and will be more than happy is someone wants to "Keep me honest".

Other valuable stuff
Thieves tools - Tippin
Fire beetle glands - 2 - Mila will take these and set them up around the room for more light since they are just sitting in someone's pack for now. Can we claim them later if they do not run out of battery while we are haulled up?

Weapons
Bow, long - Keebler
Dagger: 2
Dagger, silver: 1 - Mila
Hand axe
Quarterstaff - Mila
Arrows: 36 - 11 (Keebler & Tippin)

Useful stuff - take it if you need it
Candles: 10 - Mila
Chain
Crowbar
Flint and steel: 3 - Mila -1, AdaRue -1
Lock
Manacles
Oil, flask: 4
Paper, sheets: 4 - Adarue
Pouch, belt - Mila
Quill pen - AdaRue
Rope, 50' silk: 2
Sack, large: 8
Sack, small: 2 - Mila
Scroll cases: 2 - Mila -1, AdaRue -1
Torches: 21
Wolfsbane

Stuff that no one is likely to want or no one can use
Backpack: 3
Bedroll: 3
Blanket - Mila
Hobgoblin-sized Chain mail
Waterskin: 3 - Mila -1 , AdaRue -1
Leather armor, goblin-size: 4
Leather armor, hobgoblin-size: 2
Leather, human sized
Shield
Bow, short

Zhym's Idea:
We could leave anything we don't want here (maybe we could find a way to put the lock on the door and use this as a store room?) and gather anything else valuable we can carry on the way to town to sell.

I second this motion! What a nice place to claim and use as a safe spot.

AdaRue took her coins as well if Bluehorse wants to edit that post.

Locking the door might be done with the manacles.

Junius updated his coins and rations.

Arrows should be down to 14 left, per Dave's post above.

Regarding this, I was trying to decide how long this process would take, and opened up the house rules to add my decision, when I realized I already ruled on it:
dmw71 wrote:Spell Sharing (Ruling)
I don't have any problems with spell sharing.

If you want to do it in the middle of an adventure, it is time the entire group will need to spend waiting, and risking wandering encounters. It will require 'Read Magic' in order to be able to translate the arcane words and symbols of the other magic user, and we'll say it will take 1d3 hours per spell level to actually copy the spell. In town, between adventures, it can be done freely.
So, because Mila doesn't have 'Read Magic' memorized, she won't be able to complete the copy during the current day.

Rainey could, though.

The timing makes it a bit tricky, but I've actually been letting you check a 5-foot section each round (10-seconds). So here is the latest map (I haven't been updating it because there's really next to no change), indicating where AdaRue is (she started at the corner by the one known exit) and has been moving to her right (or left, on the map):

There's still a long way to go -- maybe 25-30 rounds (which, actually, is only 250-300 seconds, or about 5-minutes. So, In actuality, I'm probably moving you faster than I should (at no penalty to you), but it works for me.[/ooc]

The current situation has forced me to consider how healing is handled in this game, and I have updated my 'Death & Dying' house rule to 'Death, Dying, and Healing,' which now includes the following:

Healing (LL: 54)
LL: 54 wrote:"All beings recover hit points through rest. For each full day of
complete rest, a character or monster will recover 1d3 hp. If
the rest is interrupted, the character or monster will not heal
that day."
This "full day" requirement will be reduced to 8-hours (to match the resting requirements for spell casters), and, like my 'Spells' house rule, a resting character can still benefit from rest after a single interruption (but there will be no healing if the rest is interrupted two or more times).

Also, to get this game moving again (and also to best accommodate a party built almost entirely of spell casters after adding my resting house rule), I am going to make the following executive decision regarding sleep shifts and watches:

Sleep Shift #1: 17:00 - 21:00 (4-hours)
Asleep: Junius (+4), Tippin (+4), Canun (+4), Mila (+4)
Awake: Keebler (--), AdaRue (--), Rainey (--)

Sleep Shift #2: 21:00 - 01:00 (4-hours)
Asleep: Junius (+8), Tippin (+8), Canun (+8), Mila (+8)
Awake: Keebler (--), AdaRue (--), Rainey (--)

Sleep Shift #3: 01:00 - 05:00 (4-hours)
Asleep: Keebler (+4), AdaRue (+4), Rainey (+4)
Awake: Junius (+8), Tippin (+8), Canun (+8), Mila (+8)

Sleep Shift #4: 05:00 - 09:00 (4-hours)
Asleep: Keebler (+8), AdaRue (+8), Rainey (+8)
Awake: Junius (+8), Tippin (+8), Canun (+8), Mila (+8)

I checked, and there are no encounters overnight, so everyone is fully rested! (Game update in progress, and will be available soon.)

Spellcasters, please let me know what spells your character memorizes for the new game day, keeping in mind the following house rule for clerics:
  • "Clerics are not required to memorize any 'cure' spells, but can memorize any other spell for that level and automatically replace their memorized spell with the 'cure' equivalent."

Note: If no spell is specified, the previously memorized spell will be carried over.

Any questions?
