Day 4 - Early Morning - Grassy Plains


Musical Theme: And Then There Were Seven...



As the orb of the is just rising above the peaks of the eastern mountains the companions leave the old keep and tread the long wooden bridge once again. Now there are Seven, Swilbosh the lizardman who had lived most of his life, and mostly alone, at the old keep walks with the human and demihumans not knowing when he will be back to what he always called home.

After crossing the old bridge (and passing again through the band of ducks who warned Andrin about the "grey watcher") the party takes to the plains and marches East towards the mountains, led by Swilbosh.

This morning turns out to be the most agreeable thus far since their trek across Hardway Mountain began. While a few clouds stubbornly cling to the sky they cannot prevent the warm sunlight from falling on the landscape. The temperature is almost comfortable and everyone's spirits are lifted. No accidents or encounters befall the companions as they tread towards the "great stairway" mention by their reptilian host.
