The group, on their way back out of the tower, pass through the chamber where Hunclay's crushed body still rests. The group begins to move the corpse of the fallen wizard, but realize there is a slight complication when they reach the narrow ledge overlooking what used to be the slime pit. Eventually, the group is able to figure out how to get the body across, and complete the rest of the removal process.

So, what's the plan when it comes to the body?

By the way, I was going to make you play out that whole narrow ledge bit, and potentially turn Hunclay into Bernie Lomax, but figured it's not really important and decided to just let it happen.

Yeah, Weekend at Hunclay's! We could throw wild parties, all of his half-gnome, half-orc friends would show up and we'd zip around town in his magic carpet!

Sylvan lays out his plan to the group. "Here, help me move the wizard's body to within 10 yards of the door. I'll step about 5 yards back and cast my divinations, looking for magical and evil auras from the wizard's body and the door. If there's no magic on the door, I say we try Ciar's keys. Could be some useful items in there, and ol' Hunclay sure isn't using them…"

Ciar agrees with this plan and retrieves the keys. Then he waits to hear the results of Sylvan's spells.

Grim takes in the new surroundings with interest, keeping an eye all around for more Kobolds.

Fulp watches with curiosity and skepticism. All he can think is what happens if some spell at the house can wake the wizard from the dead...

Sparrow is not afraid. He helps Sylvan with the body and then gives Ciar a hand if he needs it.

The group emerges from the tower in the late afternoon and, while the group is transporting the deceased form of the crazed wizard to his manor, the group receives curious gazes and are undoubtedly the subject of whispers questions from the handful of onlookers that observe the activities from a distance.

Hunclay's body is successfully returned to just outside the front door of his manor, which is the newest building in Belhaim and is built of heavy blocks of stone. Grim estimates each stone to be at least two-feet thick. Before Sylvan carries out his intended plans, the group performs a casual inspection of the outside of the two-story home.

The manor is estimated to be approximately 100-feet wide by 60-feet deep. The front door to the manor, where the charred outline of the electrified kobold can still be found, is set in from the front of the house in a small, 20-foot recess. There's a half-circle bump-out in the center of the rear wall of the manor which is about 30-feet wide and protrudes out about 15-feet. There are three windows on the lower level, all with curtains drawn on the inside preventing looks inside.

Once ready, Sylvan enters a focused state and begins rattling off incoherent words as he begins concentrating on the front of the house, including Hunclay's body. He repeats the process a second time.

"If evil lived within Hunclay, it departed with his soul. If we believe the kobold was felled by magic, we are safe. No magical aura emanates from the front door. I do sense several small aurae from the inside, however. Ciar, you may test the keys. If your nerve falters, hand me the keys. I will be happy to suffer the consequences of misreading the powers nature grants me."

Sylvan looks expectantly at the halfling.

Ciar waves Sylvan off as he takes the keys in-hand and approaches the front door. He studies the lock, attempting to discern if either of the new keys will fit it. If one appears that it might, he tries that key in the lock and attempts to unlock the door.

Grim steps up to be 10 feet or so behind the halfling.

"Once you open the door, you may want to step out of the way to allow us to deal with any starving guard dogs/mad servants/zombie attendants that come out...yes I've been in human lands while now!"

Grim hefts his trusty axe and waits

Sparrow laughs and nods his head at the dwarfs comments.

Me thinks you might be watching too much theatre, master Grim.

The idea is a sound one though.

Sparrow follows suit and also draws his sword in anticipation of any horrible guard-monsters.

The gnome wizard steps back and runs through the spells in his memory, preparing for whatever happens as the stouter members of the group brace themselves to penetrate the manor of the Mage.

Sylvan kneels 10' behind the door, setting his spear against a charge from any hostiles.
