Enshrining this here, and also making a place to catalog things decided therein. (Lets discuss on the OOC Discussion thread).

The random generator gives us some good stock material, but we need to do the write-ups of what it means and where it attaches to character backgrounds (and later, what Mister-Kent gives us for mission briefs. :) )

Public Galactic Info

Al-Halou - GRID0600
Contains two planets - Bergthora, Alcemene
Controlled by Solar Republic

Malachi Lykos served on the planet Bergthora, in sector 600, the Al-Halou system. Bergthora is the home to billions, surviving due to a high level of technology (Tech 4) and development. The planet is temperate to warm, with a breathable atmosphere, but no living plants or animals to sustain its population. The natural world (what remains of it) is only the remnants of milennia-old terraforming, all petrified and lifeless as a result of Maltech planet-busters used in wars centuries ago. It is largely replaced by the sprawling metropolis, the whole planet acknowledged as simply the City and Wastes. It is the Capital World of the Solar Republic, thriving based on both tribute and conquest from worlds within its galactic empire. Ruled by the profit of the bourgoise, military life and service is glorified to the population as the route to being a Citizen instead of just a Civilian. Major Products: Postech, Cyberware, Warfare.

Alcemene is the other planet in the Al-Halou System. Temperate, breathable, and with a thriving human-miscible biosphere, it is a farm planet tended with high efficiency (Tech 4) by its small population - tens of thousands of farm families ruled by mandate of the Solar Republic regime. Major Products: Agriculture.

Aizazuddin - GRID0601
Contains three planets - Eidyia, Koskotas, and Periboea

Periboea has an invasive, toxic atmosphere: the hundreds of thousands on the planet live in biodomes protected from the thriving biosphere outside and the caustic air.

Koskotas is a temperate, breathable, growing planet which produces agriculture for the billions on Eidyia, the former capital of the Liberal Consensus, now a territory of the Solar Republic since the conquest in the last war.

(In addition to these two systems, the Galactic Republic is known to control four others.)

Antiphos - GRID0409
Contains planet Raboud

Raboud is widely known as the sector's "pirate's den." Although based on the fringe of the sector, pirates are known to wreak havok far and wide and have earned a blanket damnation from the Solar Republic. It is not known whether the current inhabitants are indigenous to the planet or arrived before the Scream but they have most certainly become a menace in the sectors recent history. A lot of detail is not known about the planet - the Exchange lists a population of several hundred million but also notes no natural biosphere though it's hard to see how up to date that information is as they have no presence on the world. Depending on which pirate from which ship you're talking to you might hear that it's a luxurious planet with mansions that span as far as the eye can see but another will describe it as a wasteland where inhabitants murder to survive and the risking life against the law of the sector is preferable to starving. Guy Savage considers the planet his adopted homeworld of sorts, as his former ship's, Darwin's Law, home port was on the planet.

Species: Hi'Ho
Pale humanoids with wide flat face, and four arms with slight creases of extra skin hanging from them. A generally peaceful species, long ago displaced from their homeworld.

Planet info:

Bittori is a bustling hub of Holy Mother Catholicism. High tech level and massive population.

The plainly-named Daksha System (or just "The Daksha") is a wealthy and isolated empire--not isolationist, as a rule, but largely untouched and self-sufficient. In contrast to the Solar Republic, the Daksha has never exhibited expansionist aims, focusing on improvement of its own worlds.

Shefelbine was far too smashed to elaborate on how the Daksha changed people, or why living specimens from there would be of any value.
