It's not he water that's churned up here--it's the shoreline itself. If something had done this recently enough to cause a churn in the water, and it was still muddied, it's likely someone would have seen it happening during the fight with the troll.

Nonetheless, Halfred will remain hidden while he looks and listens for potential hidden predators.

Nihilius pulls himself out of the water and onto the island, if it can be properly called that. As it is only a rocky out-cropping twenty feet wide, he figures it should not take long to make a thorough canvas of it. With his long staff in hand, he walks the circumference of the landmass, probing anything of interest, taking careful note of any signs of the Troll's habitation or lifestyle as well as pockets and hidey-holes.

I'm holding off on narrating anything on the island until I hear whether Baxtaw will be removing his armor and joining the group or not. Don't want that decision made after the fact if, say, combat happens.

Baxtaw- Varas it is not wise to be removing our armor. I will not be following to the island if you decide to proceed. Baxtaw will rejoin the rest of the group and help build the shelter.
