Re: OOC thread
DM- How are we working spells do you roll for spells I know at first level? My minimum number of spells known 7, maximum 11 per level.
Current Characters/Games
Re: OOC thread
OK to roll yourself, but one of the 1st lvl spells that you automatically get without rolling is Read Magic. So please enter Read Magic first, which then leaves minimum number of spells known 6, maximum 10 per level to roll for.

Re: OOC thread
it's fun nobody ever truly does roll a dwarf other than myself

Re: OOC thread
I would never be scared of a dwarf!
I am completely racist against them though... Which I find funny because I have no problems with real life midgets...

Re: OOC thread
it is odd and funny at the same time. I have no issues with any race in dungeons and dragons I just rarely play a halfling. I like playing elves, gnomes, dwarves and other races of the odder sort. Humans and Halflings I find too "normal" aside from the hairy feet

Re: OOC thread
I have fun with it only played a gnome three times always playing a dwarf, elf, half-elf generally. But since I joined this site I appear to be on a dwarf run. Guess I just want to be too much like the Hobbit movies

Re: OOC thread
I'm close to having all 13 dwarves in my characters list by now.

Re: OOC thread
Clarification:
For your info, I sometimes switch over temporarily to PM instead of posts, for game episodes when PCs take off in different directions. Whenever a group splits up, I feel some PCs "can't 'know" what the other group is experiencing. Perhaps because that might give some parts of the game away, or simply because it's logical.
For example, what happens to Norbold and Korin when they're inspecting plaques can't be 'seen' by Ox and Jacob who are elsewhere, tending to horses (and vice versa).
That's why I just now run one PM session with Dram/Monkeywrench and another with Pyro/GreyWolf, while they are separated. Any actions/replies are then by PM for the duration. As soon as all 4 are back in the same place again, the game goes back to 'regular posts', and you are all free to share with the others what you saw/experienced just previously when 'away from the group' (if you want to!)
I've seen other GMs/DMs do this by running different game threads, but in my case, PM is how I like to run split-ups and sub-plots. Hope that's Ok and acceptable....
