Eddiston is the holy seat for Diocese V under the auspices of Bountiful Healer Jasper of Berryby. The House of Succor has been defiled, the Bountiful Healer is missing and the Healers have been found wandering the streets bereft of mind or manners. Word has reached Renowned Healer Alan of Tarn's Cross in Lumina and he dispatched a Healer Quartus and six paladins sworn to serve Samariachau to investigate and right the apparent atrocity. The Healer, named Benjamin of Gentry, has disappeared along with the six paladins. Henry Alan suspects his retainers may be especially vulnerable to the scourge, so he has asked for outside assistance from the Confederacy of Kyria, knowing it to be a land of adventurers. Consequently, your party, possibly from other worlds before arriving in Kyria, has read or heard of the plea and responded.
