ok. This one is complicated to parse.
I'm going to call it like a Manipulate a NPC move (whomever comes to witness the scene). I'm also going to trigger the Terrified condition (which does not go away yet).
So... 2d6 +Hot -1 terrified. So it's 2d6 -1 -1 (I think, since I don't have the sheet open on my phone)

Mister Finney gets out of the way, and allows Clarence to stage his scene. The teacher glowers at Clarence, and says quietly, "I hope you like expulsion, boy, because it's your word against mine."

Up and down the hallway, heads pop out from doorways as other students crane their necks to see what is going on. From just around the corner, the sound of an adult walking quickly, with dress shoes crackling against the ornately tiled floors like rapid fire pistol shots.

It is the Principal. A stern, older woman, her sandy hair streaked with white and grey. (mc voice: I'm deliberately leaving her unnamed as a potential for complications).

Without waiting for anyone to speak, she exclaims, "Just what is the meaning of this outburst?"

She stares directly at Clarence, not even bothering to look at Mr. Finney.
[2d6-1] = 9-1 = 8-1 with terrified status bringing it to 7. Thankfully that is still a minor success.

Clarence shakes his head in his terrified state, wondering how much s--t he just got himself into. It doesn't matter anymore! He's made his decision and is sticking with it till the end. "I need to get her to the nurse's office, she's collapsed!" Clarence jerks his head towards Mr. Finney as he further explains. "I-I heard cries of struggle coming from outside my classroom and found a pair of scissors right next to him! Please, let me help her..." Clarence's head lowers after he gives his say to the principal. "I'm willing to accept any kind of punishment for leaving class, I just want to make sure she is safe... safe and away from the man who backed her into this corner."

If the situation gets bad and he is not able to accompany Vanessa towards the nurse's office, he will instead make a break for it and carry her away as fast as he can, out of the school if he must. Here is a volatile roll just in case plan b kicks in:
[2d6-1] = 9-1 = 8 w/ -1 due to condition?

Frederick responds to Seth and his plain-talking ways. He looks briefly at Seth, and then stares at his desk.

He whispers, barely audible, even to Seth, "I saw them. Maybe. I think. My therapist thinks so. It pissed me off, but I couldn't look away. And she liked it. She didn't try to fight him off, the slut. It pissed me off so badly.

"I don't remember what was next. I was on him, mounted on him... like what I saw. What I saw. I think. His face was all busted. Like someone dropped a piece of steak on the floor. My hands stung like a thousand bees bit me. I think I laughed. It felt good to let go. I think I knew it all along, the slut.

"I was ready to kill her. She said he knew people at Yale. He was helping her?! They have a great BFA program, you know? She wanted to go to Yale... And she told me she was sorry. That she loved me, I think.

"I couldn't hurt her, then. Not like I did Mister Finney. But I wanted to. You know? I wanted to erase it all right there. I thought I loved her... But I still wanted to hurt her."

The troubled boy buries his face in his hands and weeps.

Mrs. Meecher looks around, and stares at the empty place where her photocopies had been. Her eyes begin to water again. She looks over at Lucinda, and then to James. "Did you see where my papers have gone?"

A muffled buzz from a cell phone causes Lucinda to grab for her clutch purse. She hauls out a strange white cell phone with a square screen and an actual keyboard at the bottom. She bangs furiously at the keys.

For Metal Fatigue...

James shrugs. "I think Summer was getting ready to pass them around before she got upset. I sure hope she's ok..."

Forgetting about that situation as quickly as he jumped in, James turns around and leans toward Seth. "Hey, are you going to the party this weekend or are you grounded again?"

For Rukellian...
I guess the other difficult thing is the action. It's not like the Principal doesn't know something about Mister Finney... So manipulating her to act on him is complicated.

Mister Finney opens his mouth to speak. "Mrs. Price-Walters, I found this poor child in the hallway, about to harm herself. I was only trying to help, as I ever do. Why, I have just sent a letter of recommendation for her, to the Fine Arts program at Yale. You know how successful I am at placing our students at Yale... Poor Vanessa. Perhaps I should take her home. To her house, I mean. I'm sure her parents would be relieved."

He flips his stringy brown hair away from his ample fleshy face, smiling innocently at the Principal.

The Principal, Mrs. Price-Walters, grits her teeth. She can barely contain her frustrations. "Mister Finney, please return to your classroom, and await your next class. Second period is about to start."

She then addresses Clarence. "As for you... Students should not be wandering the Halls. You are obviously a poor influence on Miss Lokhart. If you wish for me to believe otherwise, then you'll need more than slander and conjecture against an educator as capable as Mister Finney. You may return to class, young man, while I await the nurse."

mc voice: Any response to our dear principal?

Summer wants to run, to get away from Lucinda and Finney and this hellhole school and her whole life. But she can't. It will follow her. Lucinda will follow her. She needs help…

Touching up her makeup, squaring her shoulders, she marches grimly back into the hallway where she is sure Finney awaits her like a great sticky glob of stale cotton candy.

Pretty sure this calls for a Hold Steady: 2d6-1=11 and finally some luck comes my way! When in doubt take +1 forward.

Clarence shakes his head readily in understanding. He is relieved that Vanessa is no longer in danger of being snatched up by Mr. Finney, and finds it easier to speak in his usually formal voice. "I understand the rules quite well ma'am. I will not go against them. The only reason why I was out here was to escort Vanessa to the nurse's office. I did not intend on our art teacher to stop her like this. When I saw the scissors, I panicked and feared for her safety. I apologize if I acted rashly and jumped to conclusions." Clarence nods his head to both the principal and Mr. Finney as he says this.

Picking up the scissors, he hands them to the principal for safe keeping and then takes another look at Vanessa and the art teacher before returning back to class. His hands are still a bit shaky though, still unnerved about everything that happened and what could of happened...
Opening the door to his AP Literature class, he enters slowly and slowly walks up to the teacher's desk. He says in a quiet voice, being careful not to say anthing to loud, "Vanessa is currently being escorted to the nurse's office by the principal. She is safe and the scissors she was holding onto have been taken away. I apologize if my sudden outburst upset you, but I couldn't bear to leave her alone in the state she was in." After making sure Mrs. Meecher understands the situation, Clarence will take his seat and resume taking notes. He pulls out another paper and starts to copy them for Vanessa.

Seth watches Frederick as he finishes. Seth simply nods at him and says in a low voice so that only Frederick can hear, "Sounds like we need to get rid of him then, maybe both of them." He stares forward without saying another word.

Seth looks over to Mrs. Meecher for a moment, glancing at Duke as well, before focusing on James. "Yeah, told someone I'd do something for them. I'll be there."

I see that scene 2 is now open but I wanted to do something before we got to the party, mainly follow through on his word to Duke. So I guess I'll just do that here?

After class lets out Seth waits for everyone to leave, not even leaving his desk as he waits, simply staring at Mrs. Meecher. Once everyone has left he walks over to her desk casually, sitting on the edge of it as he looks down to her. He gives her a sly smile as he speaks, "I'm sure you already knew but there is a party going on tonight, I try not to get dragged into these; But since I am I wanted to ask you to come too." He leans down and looks the teacher directly in the eyes as he sends a bit of his primal magnetism towards her, "I would really like to see you there..." rolling to turn her on Seth HOT Roll: [2d6+2] = 5+2 = 7, With that he simply walks away, letting her think about it.

Just barely made that roll

as for rolling a 7, let me know what action needs to be done. My main goal is to arrive with Mrs. Meecher, let her sit by the drinks or something and then tell Duke he kept his word and tell him where she is.
Life is a roller coaster, if you don't stop to enjoy it then you may as well not even ride.

I think that would be Manipulate NPC. Turn On would be to get the string, which you could parley into Manipulate...

Regardless, the intent was to manipulate her into going to the party by animal magnetism, yes?
Hmmm. That can work, but I need to complicate it.

I'll give you the full answer in a spoiler tag inside the scene 2 thread.

With that, I think we are done here. I'll lock this thread later tonight.
