Where To Edit Your Signature
1. In the top right corner of the forum, click on User Control Panel.
2. In the Options frame, on the left side of the screen, click the Profile link.
3. Click on Edit Signature.

How To Make A Hyperlink In Your Signature
(Note: I'll use <> brackets any time I display code, but when you actually write the code, you need to use [] brackets)

1. Open a second window/tab in your web browser and navigate to the post of the character sheet you want to make as a hyperlink in your signature.
2. In the top right corner of that character sheet entry is a little white rectangle. It is immediately before the word "Posted:". If you mouse over that white rectangle, it should say, "Post".
3. Click on that rectangle. That displays the unique web address to that post in the Address bar of your web browser. Copy that address.
4. Return to the first window/tab.
5. Enter whatever text you want to display as the hyperlink (e.g. Braun the Fighter, Lvl 2, Othello Campaign).
6. Highlight that text and click the URL button above the edit box to create URL tags around that text.
7. Now you should have something that looks like this (only with square brackets instead of angle brackets):

<url>Braun the Fighter, Lvl 2, Othello Campaign</url>

8. Now you want to add the hyperlink information. To do that, just add an equal sign (=) after the first use of "url" and then paste the address you copied from the address bar. It should look like this:

<url=viewtopic.php?p=blahblahblah>Braun the Fighter, Lvl 2, Othello Campaign</url>

9. Save.
10. ????
11. Profit.

Note: Don't forget to uncheck the Disable BBCode checkbox below the text box if you're going to use HTML code in your signature.

Thanks, Alethan. I was trying to find the other thread where we discussed this, but couldn't.

It was previously discussed HERE, but that was just a question of how to get to the point of editing your signature, not of what code to use to add a hyperlink. It looked like the second part was really the desired information, but I thought I'd add the first for anyone else who wanted to edit their signature but didn't know where to start.

(Important enough question that I thought we should split it out into it's own discussion for easy reference...)

This would work better if you at least doubled the 650 character limit!

I have 2 that i am DM for & 9 player characters that i would list & then hyperlink!
Dungeon Master : Guido's Keep on the Borderlands & the Hills of Horror & Chaos (1st Ed D&D) :
1A: The Inheritance (1st Ed D&D)

Player:
Erico Caravellino - Thief : Elphand Adventures (ACKS Wilderlands - On Hold)
Stanilus Peri -Fighter (Bard) : Wardens in the North (D&D 1st Ed - On Hold)

Maximillian Arikas [Aether] & Steve Sanderson [Flicker] : Rebirth of Power: 4C System
Rician Lockwindberg - Paladin Knight : A Village With No Name (1st Ed D&D)
Theodore Mumfordian - Half-Elf Ranger : Terrible Trouble at Tragidore (1st Ed AD&D) [Completed]
Vicentio Senereno : Human Wizard : Veranar (5th Ed. D&D)
Tonkioso 'Gizzy' Gizmoebius : Clockwork Child : At the Forest Edge (Beyond the Wall & Other Adv)
Rician Lockwindberg : Human Paladin : A Village With No Name (2nd Edition AD&D)
Norbold Ernessaeia : Sylvian Elf Cleric : Minn's Mound (1st Edition AD&D)
