Unseen Servant Roller Char Sheets inserting image
if anyone wants to know how to put an image on your roller sheet it is html <img src="img url"></img> is what works like on my sheet. Just edit for description and background and input in description. I cannot take credit for this as Alebelly was the one that figured it out and informed me when I asked.

Can you post a char sheet where you've done this?

The only thing is, if you embed the image in the character sheet, then you probably don't want to also embed it in the same post.

That's freakin' cool!
This is a game about killing things and taking their stuff so you can become more powerful in order to kill bigger things and take even better stuff.

Ah ha... that's pretty sneaky! I love it when people 'hack' solutions. I never thought anyone would do that but it works well.

I cannot get this to work, when I save the character sheet it converts the " to ' and it breaks
Re: Unseen Servant Roller Char Sheets inserting image
I don't think you need any quotes at all. Try it with just the image URL without quotes.shaidar wrote:I cannot get this to work, when I save the character sheet it converts the " to ' and it breaks

Re: Unseen Servant Roller Char Sheets inserting image
then it does not seem to like the ? in the url, as the file is one I uploaded to these forums as it moved from its original location and i had to find it again.
Re: Unseen Servant Roller Char Sheets inserting image
I got it to work just by pasting the HTML code provided by Photobucket - no additional coding necessary.
You might try that, if you're sourcing the image from Photobucket. If you're not sourcing the image from Photobucket or some location you have control over, you might do that.

my bad the quotation marks are not needed.

Re: Unseen Servant Roller Char Sheets inserting image
Thread necro! Just wanted to add that the image code has to come first in the description, before any text. Double, simple or no quotes does not factor in. I just posted the image in one of our PbP forums here and right clicked => copy image link.

Re: Unseen Servant Roller Char Sheets inserting image
it should go <img src=image url/source></img> otherwise I'm not exactly sure what you mean by the image code has to go first sastaz.
