HOOMPHH!! After Malak's slight form, the Ranger struggles with the sudden descent of Korgul, underestimating the Dwarven warrior's mass. Tho his pride refuses to allow him to call for help, a somewhat pleading glance over his shoulder will be noticed.

Ilhalevar surprises even herself as she immediately grabs the rope and helps to lower the dwarf.

Who's going down in what order? And how's the Ranger getting down? :)
I'm not saying you are all down safe, just trying to do this orderly.
Thanks!

Alethan: I'm good with NOT pressing our luck this time.
mjulius: That's how I know I'm home.
Pulpatoon: The whole point of PbP is to take the scheduling pressure off the game. We're just chatty because we're so eager!
Scott308: ...everyone should be reminded of just how wonderful the people they play games with here can be in real life.
Leitz: Quality and quantity wise, I think US is the best I've seen.
Paladin: I can promise terror, glory, and riches...or a quick and brutal death.
Inferno: Come on! That's was Vicar's Head, a completely different doomed village!
Rex: I can move to the wait list to let someone else into the game.

With Korgul down, the Ranger will hold the line for the rest, and plant a spike in the floor unless there is a stalagmite or other strong protuberance within decent reach to tie onto.

Zafalia slings her shield and spear and prepares to go next.

After nodding to Wulfgard, she makes to follow Ilhalevar down the rope, hoping to use her natural dexterity and balance to hold her torch away from the water the best she can.

Wulfgar looks at the rope with a feeling of dread.
He then takes several glances around as if searching for a better option.

Perhaps I should stay here to keep watch so that no one follows us?

As the Druids torch makes its way down the rope, Wulfgar realizes that it's pretty dark up here.

Oh I say, wait for me! Wait I am coming.

Wulfgar makes his way down as quickly but carefully as possible.

Don't let a little darkness scare ye, Wulf! laughs the dwarf.

I'm assuming that the "infravision" listed on my character sheet lets me see in the dark to a certain extent-- it's like a kind of heat vision, correct?

Correct, but (for my games) it's like infravision goggle heat vision, so pretty good. You can't read or see in real detail, but you can deal pretty well in places that aren't overwhelmed with heat or cold. It's pretty warm down here, but not enough to ruin your heat vision - now standing in the radius of a torch or lantern will ruin it.

Sorry guys, it looks like I won't be able to update this right now. I'm hoping later, but definitely tomorrow.
