Eirenaios ignores the existence of the merchant, "Shouldn't we scout some more? We know that they will attack but we don't know when, their numbers or their plan of attack"

Eirenaios faces Throm, "True, we can return with our information right now or look for more, both paths has their benefits and drawbacks, what do you think?", he looks to the others, "I vote for sending francis with (guard's name) back with the news and we scout a bit ahead"

"I don't feel good about leavin ya. Was told to stay with ya and report back what we find..." says the guard "But I don't like leavin this scum ta go free neither. I'll take'em and report to the captain about the fate of Ironton, if'n he ain't lyin. If yer headin to Ironton it's a long road west, then north,
and east again. The road is easy enough ta see ya through the mountains, but they're like ta be watchin it.
Be careful my friends."
He slaps Francis on the back with the flat of his sword. "Board the wagon, ya dog. You know the way. We'll let the captain see whats in yer chest."
They ride off in the wagon back towards Charlotte.

A couple hours of marching down the road and the landscape starts to become very cluttered. Looking over your shoulder you can see the you're now between the mountain crater orc camp and the road ahead toward Ironton.
The ground on each side of the road is trampled by many heavy boots. Apparently you're on the right track.

Re: Ill news is an ill guest
The path of the trampling is easy to follow. The sun rides the sky as your journey continues through the high rolling hills at the roots of the mountains.
Ahead Craxzus and Throm spy a whif of smoke coming from a bush against a rocky out cropping. After careful examination from afar you determine its a camouflaged cave.
You're looking down on it from about 500' away. There doesn't appear to be anyone or anything else around it, and the trampled road leads around the caves hill away from the mouth.

Thorgrim will cautiously approach the cave mouth to see what the smoke is all about. He will examine the area around the cave mouth closely and listen to see if he can hear anything inside the cave.

Throm will go check the cave out with Thorgrim listening carefully to see if he can hear anything talking inside.

Throm Listen (20%) [1d100] = 65
Throm Move Quietly(28%) [1d100] = 8
The 2 dwarves approach the cave making a little noise traversing the loose rocks.
Orc 1" Ek vertel jy ons die regte keuse gemaak!"
Orc 2 " Ek voel soos 'n lafaard."
Orc 3 " Beter 'n lewendige lafaard as dooie held."
They hear the familiar rough orcish speach in what sound like arguing though not angry.
The speaking stops abruptly as more loose rocks fall under dwarven boots.
A tense moment passes and a coyote bays in the distance.
The guterul talk inside continues.
The mouth of the cave is covered with freshly hewn pine branches that make seeing inside impossible.
You can hear the crackling of fire and smell meat roasting.
