Eirenaios gives the mage a suspicious look, "You have quite the eye to spot a shadow this far away......care to lead us there?"

Throm "Heh. Guess you ain't heard dwarves can spot a good rock from a mile a way." the burly dwarf tells Eirenaios with a smile.

I would be honored to lead, a head first charge is what I do best. Silence or surprise is not my way but if a few of you want to fan out while on the way mayhap we can hide our true number in case a surprise is needed.
With that and a quick check for confirmation I start straight for the shadow.

Re: Tomb of the Builders
Ruken looks over his shoulder and looks at the general direction everyone is pointing towards. He does not spot the shadowy figure up above, but feels it rude to just ignore it. He waves his hand in a grand hello-like gesture towards the figure, then goes back to his work.
Search Check 46% [1d100] = 21
On the off chance Ruken actually spots the same figure being described, his wave hello will be that much more accurately aimed.

Re: Tomb of the Builders
Craxzus- Will look for a bird to cast his bird vision spell upon. So that he may see what is following them. I have just the spell to see our onlooker.

Re: Tomb of the Builders
Craxzus easily finds a high flying bird and begins an incantation.
Craxzus Knowledge (arcane) (55%)[1d100] = 54(barely)
His vision blurs and those watching see his pupils go milky white. A moment later Craxzus is flying high above the trees and urges the bird toward the cliff where he sees a large winged beast charging from a cave and taking flight!
As Tyrion begins to climb the cliff face and Ruken waves to the unseen watcher a roar is heard and the shadow becomes a winged beast that charges into flight far above! It dives the trees above the party and thrashes at the limbs trying to find a way through. Frustrated at your tree cover it lands in a clearing to the north and crashes through the trees towards you!
when using a skill in character please include a skill roll as I did for Craxzus above. Also remember when attacking make your post like so:
Tyrion(Dex:?) Swings his axe at the poor maid.
(Macro roll link)
And parries (or dodges) the maids attacks.
example
Tyrion (Dex 13) attacks maiden with axe.
Tyrion (Dex:13) Axe (65%) [1d100] = 62 damage (1+2 db) [1d8+1][1d4] Dodge (54%)[1d100] = 65
Of course you can list this however you like and do the macros however you like but all that info should be there.
Dex
Attack and skill %
Dodge or parry skill %
For the spell casters replace dex with INT when casting.
If you need help with macros in dice roller let me know.

Re: Tomb of the Builders
The sounds of a giant beast's roar alerts the gnome. He turns his head and looks over his shoulder. Upon seeing the great winged beast thrashing through the forest, at great speed towards the group, Ruken says but only one word, "Oh..." This was no friendly stranger after all. "Should of known by now. Ahahahahaaahahaahahaaa." His forced laugh quickly goes to a whisper as the gnome realizes just how big the creature is.
Ruken proceeds to back away in an expedient manner and find cover far away from the group and large winged beast.

Re: Tomb of the Builders
Thorgrim fires a deadly bolt from his mechanical bow but the trees block its target. He tosses the crossbow aside and charges with his more reliable weapon.
Throm has better luck with his thrown axe and its blade sticks deep into the charging beast. He also unslings his hammer and joins Thorgrim, Tyrion, and Craxzus in the assault as Ruken dissappears into the forest foliage.
Eirenaios halts his own charge and begins an incantation.
Craxzus reaches the beast first and sliced into the beast with his short sword.
His strike coming moments before Tyrions axe also finds a home in the things flesh. (please include your characters DEX score in all physical attack actions.)
The dragon-like monster attacks Tyrion, bringing a barbed tail to bare on the dwarf but he nimbly dodges the attack.
Sharp teeth are snapped at Craxzus but the creature overshoots his target and accidentally finds the elves short sword diven through its jawl severing some of its teeth! It howls in pain as blood flows from yet another wound.
<For those of you new to system attacks take place according to three factors. Missle weapons go first in a round, followed by thrown weapons. Spells go off first in the round following their casting, non-combat skills go next (Ruken hiding ) then melee attacks happen in order of DEX. High to low. I won't show random rolls on who is attacked or enemy rolls, nor enemy HPs.>
Round 2 actions!

Re: Tomb of the Builders
Ruken's studies of animal/creature wildlife in strange lands have offered some immediate insight to the situation. Upon safer examination of the creature from afar, the gnome is able to deduce that the group is fighting a Wyvern! Not only that, the gnome knows for a fact that the barbed tail is very poisonous. He shouts out to his comrades, hoping to warn them in time. "Watch out for the tail. The Wyvern's tail is poisonous!"
----
Not wanting to waste a moment now that the danger is real, Ruken scrounges the area looking for the rest of the components that he might need for his poison antidotes. He searches his mind's library of alchemical knowledge for the ingredients he seeks. With luck, the pretty dome petals he collected earlier will help compensate.
