Lysander, Paladin

Lysander presses the attack, doing all he can to block the undead from Jase and Thurgrum.

Attack: [1d20] = 15, and Damage: [1d12] = 6
Attack: [1d20] = 13, and Damage: [1d12] = 1

You are correct; it should have been 1d12. Thank you, I'll be sure to watch that from now on.

[1d20+3] = 1+3 = 4[1d20+3] = 3+3 = 6 3rd round attacks  (Not sure how you roll fumbles but my later crit might not matter lol)
[1d20+3] = 7+3 = 10[1d20+3] = 20+3 = 23[1d20+3] = 7+3 = 10 4th round attacks
[1d12+3] = 11+3 = 14[1d12+3] = 11+3 = 14[1d12+3] = 10+3 = 13 4th round damage

Oggle tries to jump at his advantage from his first onslaught but while his attacks were hitting the reverberation and pain from hitting the solid bone really impaired his ability to impact the giant skeleton strongly. At least until he gained some better feeling back in his hands when he landed another vicious blow.

Lower Mausoleum, Stairs 3
Initiative Order: Lysander (2), Thurgrum (4), Ogre skeleton (6), Jase (8), Oggle (10)

http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/4159337/

Round 3...
Lysander presses the attack, doing all he can to block the undead from Jase and Thurgrum. His sword strikes the skeletal Ogre with a solid blow, knocking loose more bones, but not destroying the beast. Thurgrum steps around to help, his holy symbol still glowing and keeping the wolf skeletons at bay. The cleric of Moradin tries to hit the Ogre with his war hammer, but he slips on some bone shards and misses completely.
With an unholy bone rattling sound, the skeletal Ogre (ignoring the dwarf) brings its a clawed fist around and tears into Lysander, leaving the paladin a bloody mess! (10 pts) http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/4159340/
Lysander staggers and falls back against the cavern wall, sliding down to the floor...

Seeing Lysander go down, Oggle attacks with fury, but oversteps and clangs one of his swords on the ground so hard that it numbs his arm and he drops it at the feet of the skeletal Ogre!

Round 4...
Initiative Order: Thurgrum (3), Oggle (7), Jase (9), Ogre skeleton (9)
http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/4159345/

Thurgrum attacks again, calling on Moradin's name, but either the All-Father cannot hear him or is busy and the cleric misses the Ogre skeleton again. But Oggle doesn't. His blades are a whirlwind of fury as he hacks and chops, crushing a leg bone, felling the Ogre, and then bashing in its skull, ending its undead life.
The wolf skeletons continue to cower from the divine power of Moradin, but that might not last forever. Once the dust has settled from the battle, you are able to see a door in the back of the room...

Oggle immediately rushes towards the wolf skeletons and tries to down them before their divine fear dissipates. "Thurgrum attend to Lysander quickly! By Bahamut's mighty claws this venture has really turned to shit!"

While Oggle makes short work of the cowering wolf skeletons, Thurgrum bends over Lysander's still form and with Jase's help, forces the contents of a healing potion down the paladin's throat. Lysander chokes, gags, and coughs, but then the horrible wounds on his body begin to heal and his breathing returns to normal (7 pts). Healing potion [2d4+2] = 5+2 = 7

Jase shakes his head and rubs his weary eyes."Wish ye could do something for poor ol' Lewis."
"Aye lad, me too," Thurgrum replies. "Alas, that type of power is far beyond me ability. Oi, Oggle! I'm out of healing and we be pretty beat up. Do we keep going or take a rest here?"

Lysander, Paladin

Lysander groans as he becomes aware of his surroundings. "What happened?", he asks as he pulls up the corner of his cloak to wipe his mouth. He then tries to push himself up onto an elbow and look around.

Oggle helps Lysander to his feet. "By Bahamut's blessing you only fell unconscious from that damned skeleton. Thank your lucky stars these blades be blessed by the Great Platinum Dragon himself! Otherwise we'd all be dead. "

Oggle then turns to Thurgrum. "Let us leave this place and rest, another one of those giant skeletons attacks and I don't think we'd last in our current condition."

Thurgrum nods and walks to the door. He hesitates half a second and then he opens it:

A narrow stone landing connects to a bridge built of rope and wood, apparently placed to cross a natural crevice here. The crevice is tight where it connects to this passage, and it isn't much wider below you, though you can tell it contains some water. Gray with age, the bridge still seems sturdy. At its far end, perhaps 30 feet away, the bridge connects to another landing and a wider chamber.

Lysander, Paladin

Taking a deep breath, the paladin looks over Thurgrum's shoulder and to the landing on the other side. "My thanks to you Thurgrum for the revival. My curiosity was piqued about what lay beyond that door. Once we are refreshed I will be eager to progress past it". Lysander motions to the stairs and moves to retrieve Lewis's body.

Yes, actually, I need to know what you are doing. Are you going to hole up and rest before attempting the bridge? If so, we don't need to roleplay that (unless you want to) > just say we rest 8 hours, taking turns on watch, and then go from there. Or you could cross the bridge and rest after that.

OOC: Yes my intention was to rest up 8 hours and then continue across the bridge after we rest. Sorry if that wasn't clear in my earlier posts.

Lysander, Paladin

Lysander assists in setting a modest camp, and if permitted, uses his Lay on Hands ability to bestow a blessing from the Triad to Oggle (2 hp).

It's not the best rest you've ever had, but at least it counts as rest, and all too quickly, you are back on your feet and ready to face the next challenge. Thurgrum has prayed for a full set of spells and between he and Lysander, plus the nights rest, the group is fully healed and ready to investigate further into the tombs.

Oggle eases out onto the bridge and the boards creak loudly, but seem to be solid enough to hold him...

Actions? And I need a marching order...

"After you Lysander you look more prepared to take a punch with all of that armor"

Oggle takes up behind Lysander and urges Thurgrum to follow him in the middle with the others lagging behind.

Lysander, Paladin

The paladin nods at Oggle, agreeing with his stated marching order. "Wait till I cross before adding your own weight".

Slowly and cautiously, Lysander eases across the wooden bridge, holding onto both side ropes as he walks. The bridge creaks loudly and looking into the crevasse below, the paladin thinks he can see some sort of water...but after a few nerve-wracking seconds, he reaches the opposite landing safely. The landing opens up into another chamber...

Smooth stone littered with small bits of broken rock and dirt makes up the floor of this chamber. The door to the northwest is shut and intact but remnants of the south door are propped up against a ruined frame and a badly cracked wall.
