Discuss the project, individual submissions, editorial ideas, etc.

As I said, I'll be the 'buck stops here' kind of guy on this. I like the term 'benevolent dictator' :p
If you'd like to be an editor or can help out in some other way, post here. I'll make a new thread or edit this post when we get a list of a few people that can help.

You may want to keep a list of editors, and add proofers for the final product.

I volunteer to help with editing as we go, and be either an editor or proofer at the end.
This is a game about killing things and taking their stuff so you can become more powerful in order to kill bigger things and take even better stuff.
Alethan: I'm good with NOT pressing our luck this time.
mjulius: That's how I know I'm home.
Pulpatoon: The whole point of PbP is to take the scheduling pressure off the game. We're just chatty because we're so eager!
Scott308: ...everyone should be reminded of just how wonderful the people they play games with here can be in real life.
Leitz: Quality and quantity wise, I think US is the best I've seen.
Paladin: I can promise terror, glory, and riches...or a quick and brutal death.
Inferno: Come on! That's was Vicar's Head, a completely different doomed village!
Rex: I can move to the wait list to let someone else into the game.

I like those names, but for some reason "The Town of Clandestine" (or some wordplay around it) sounds like a good name for a town, for some reason. The rogues' guild in a town named Clandestine should be bad ass to keep up with the name :)

I like the Hidden Wrench for a inn name!

I submitted a blacksmith for the town.

I've fleshed out the entry for The Hidden Wench, and feel that it's pretty complete. Any input would be appreciated. I added payment for Glendor's employes, but I really have no good feeling for how much they should get paid. Seems right to me but... ???

Some places that come to mind that need to be submitted are

General Store
A place that sells horses/mules

Also, where would be be located at, is it near water? or in the woods? open farmland?

I have a location named Majesto's Magical Emporium and Curiosities in the works that I'll be posting soon.

It buys/sells low level magic items as well as fencing stolen goods.

I like the idea of it being located away from a large body of water (maybe a river would be ok). That way, it can be used in more locations in another world.

Sounds great! Looking forward to seeing it.

Instead of getting too big for our britches do we want to start this off as a really small hamlet really flesh it out good and then once we feel it's great expand it further?

Might be a good idea. Based on the interest this idea has garnered, it might be even smaller than a hamlet... more like a 'wide spot in the road'.

I'm up for writing something. Just need to find the time. Also trying to work through a head cold (and the accompanying head cold medicines).

What has been covered so far and what would you like to see covered, ToniXX?

(I could look it up, but just for summary purposes, it might be nice...)
Dragon foot. Bamboo pole. Little mouse. Tiny boy.

Me too. Luckily I'm on the tail end of it.

So far, we have a monastery, an inn/tavern, and a blacksmith, and a pending magic shop. Other suggested ideas: General store, stables w/tack and harness, guilds.

Regarding what I'd like to see: anything :)
