Off to swim in icy cold waters at the source of the River Spey up in the Highlands! ( just to prove I can still 'man up' on the boys so they don't think dad is over the hill at 40!).

Am still tweaking my character McCloud for start of the ToH campaign. Notice that being 1/2 elf he will max out fighter class at level 6 with his stats so that is a bummer though I can also go to M-U class at that level too and then drop a level to 10th as thief. So that being fine I'll re-roll his HP and roll for his spells (4 x1st, 2x 2nd and 2x 3rd). Okay will update his sheet over the weekend whilst recovering from semi-hypothermia wrapped in a woolly blanket and warming my cockles with a wee dram or two!

Just remember, Stirling, as a half elf, you'll have to multiclass, not dual class, your character. It will mean splitting your XP evenly to determine what levels you attain for your classes.

If you want to dual class, you need to go all human.

Bill, I'm on the waiting list as well and will request the Thief 3wl magical package. (Come on magic armor! )

Speaking of which, going to get my Duergar cleric/thief completed over the weekend. I already rolled hit points before seeing that note on starting with max at 1st level. So I might go ahead and reroll that but actually did come out pretty well so not sure it'll make all that much difference.

In regards to getting my character fully equipped, I'm going to wait until I see what I'm getting from that magical package first.

Ah, dang, I missed this at first. So... what would you guys accept as "fair", considering I've already made all of my dice rolls? Replacing the first dice rolls for each class with the maximum and just recalculating it from there? Probably won't make that big of a difference, but I guess it might...

Bah... never mind. Not a big enough deal to worry about. I'm all ready to go, once I can remember where saving throws and To Hit tables are located in 1e when you don't have the DM Shield in front of you...
