That sound about right?
Yes, I believe that is correct.

I will grant you +15% to your rolls due to his very fitting and awesome background concept. Nicely done there!

MU's/Ill's can start with 8 first and 6 second level spells in their books.

The party is shaping up nicely so far.....

2 Fighters, 1 Mage, 1 Cleric, and an Illusionist/Thief.

I will put an intro thread up shortly so those who are ready can get to know each other a little bit while we wait for the last few sheets. :D

[4d6c1] = 9 [4d6c1] = 8 [4d6c1] = 17
[4d6c1] = 9 [4d6c1] = 13 [4d6c1] = 8

Hmm, I'll have to think about this. Should have something ready tomorrow.

Hey, folks. My apologies, but I think I'm going to have to drop out. A busy week and getting sick for a couple of days reminded me that I really don't have time to add another game.

Have fun, everyone!

I'm going to go with a halfling thief.

[1d6] = 4
[1d6] = 4
Total = 14hp.

Would an Assassin be okay? Otherwise I'll go Magic-User, I think.

Hi Kent!

An Assassin would be ok, but with 2 thieves in the party already, I think another Magic User might be far more beneficial. (and more fun to play)

But don't let logic stop you from playing whatever you like. :D

I had to choose magic armor or my character wouldn't have been able to carry his equipment. Unless you let me get an Apparatus of Kwalish. then I can just put my stuff in there... 8-)

You could have always chosen a bag of holding. But I agree on the armor obviously.

As much as I'd like to allow the apparatus, no. (has anyone ever used one of those?)

Encumbrance isn't likely to be a big factor in this one-shot, so I am not going to track it closely.

I don't see any character who is overburdened yet. THANK YOU FOR THAT!
(I usually warn a player once or twice that his character can't really carry 5X his weight in equipment regardless of his STR score. If they don't agree, the first encounter is always a water filled pit trap!) :D

I will say this once more.......
You don't want to be overburdened at the beginning of this one. :? :lol:

Sorry for the delay everyone. We had another player (Mister Kent) drop out, but luckily a reserve should be up and running shortly.

Thanks for your patience!

Hey everyone, I am the aforementioned replacement. I've already rolled for my stats (and I scrolled through to see everyone else's: the dice roller wasn't too kind to anyone except me)

Stats 1 [4d6c1] = 16 [4d6c1] = 3 [4d6c1] = 17

Ability score rolls: [4d6c1] = 16 [4d6c1] = 13 [4d6c1] = 11

I already have the character I want to play fleshed out in my head so hopefully that will make up for me joining the party later than everyone else.

Age [5d6] = 15

The above roll is for my age (+150 for being an elf magic user) so I'm a young 165 year old.

You could be an MU with a STR of 3 - we can carry you around on a stretcher since you won't be able to support your own weight... :)
