Jackson will do his best to sight down his carbine at the creature and fire off another shot.

Second level of Strange alien ship/station in Otherspace

Professor Clark, Zinn, Zuul and Jackson all fire upon the rapidly fleeing alien, whose high-speed, erratic movement and racing along the ceiling all made for an extremely difficult shot….

Clark and Crodowski hit the alien while Zinn and Zuul came close, but just missed. The two bolts lanced into the now-unarmored creature and with a cry of pain, the alien suddenly stiffened up and then fell with its lower legs curling in towards its body and landed with a meaty SPLAT about 30 meters away. It was DEFINITELY finished….

As the Rebels pondered thier next move, they soon saw a pair of bridges that spanned a crack that seemed to fall down to the level they had been on before, while on the other side was another of the strange 'scanning machines' they had found the Motivator in, though this one was smaller. Making thier way to it, they could seen a strange sort of 'organic conveyor belt' that was carrying various items into a 'mouth like' area, that presumable served as the scanner. Just entering the mouth was a Blaster pistol, while on the belt, the Rebel band could seen a Glowrod (flashlight), several articles of clothing, a chronometer (watch), 4 Medpacs, a 10 meter coil of synth rope with an attached flexi-steel lanyard (a grappling hook) and much to Zuul's surprise, a 6 shot, .48 caliber Enforcer Slug-thrower….LOADED no less!

As most of the Rebels concentrated on the scanner and its contents, Professor Clark glanced across the wide open area to where the other bridge went too and he saw was would appear to be half-a-dozen of the armored suits/exo-skeletons, whatever that the aliens used….wrapped in strange webbing and a machine nearby that might serve as the machine that built the armored suits….or perhaps just transported them here for storage? The Professor wasn't sure as it didn't make a whole lot of sense to his logical brain…but then in this place….what did?

Vale watches the strange scanner device in action. "What will happen to that blaster pistol that it has just swallowed up, I wonder?" he asks aloud.

He reaches for the four medpacs. They might be useful.

Gavin takes the glowrod as it might also prove useful.

"I don't know, this place is crazy." Clark replies. "Right now I just want to find our ship parts and get out of here."

Seeing the others grab things off the belt, Clark takes the grappling hook.

"Iss that place the armory, you think?" Zuul asks the Professor about the suit holding area. "Maybe we should take control of it."

Zinn grabs all the other assorted gear off the conveyor; the medpacs will come in handy for sure, and he searches the articles of clothing to see if the pockets hold any surprises. He checks the chronometer to see if it's keeping time, and if it's local time, galactic standard, or what.

Second level of Strange alien ship/station in Otherspace

The Rebels gathered the gear they could see on the 'scanner'; trying not to get too disgusted as bits of slimy goop clung to each item before slowly dripping off; with Vale gathering the 4 medpacs, Gavin the glowrod, Zuul the slug-thrower, Zinn the chronometer and clothes and Clark the 10 meter synthrope with flexisteel grappling hook. Valimar found nothing of interest in the clothing and the chronometer was currently blinking at a stopped time, ready to be set to whatever time the pilot wished….

Moving along, the band of Rebel Agents explored the area where the armor suits/exo-sekeltons/whatever were stored and perhaps either created or worked on, though the 'conveyor belt' and 'gantry arms' didn't appear to be working at the moment, so it was hard to tell if the suits were created here or just worked on. The suits themselves were CLEARLY not capable of being used by humanoid beings and they seemed to be made out of some kind of tough, though flexible chitnous material that seemed fairly solid and surprisingly light-weight. Professor Clark estimated it would probably stand up to the same amount of punishment that most Stormtrooper or 'Bounty Hunter' armored suits he had seen in the 'regular' galaxy and they also seemed to be equipped with a built in Plasma launcher/cannon….though clearly there was no power source for the weapon, so the good Professor speculated that the strange spider-like aliens must somehow power it themselves….

Looking further into the vast interior chambers/floor-level of the ship/station they were on after moving through the armor area, the rebels saw the bizarre sight of a large chamber that seemed to be a storage area of some kind. Instead of wall, the area was enclosed by a transparent membrane and strange, organic-looking openings large enough to allow entry to the spider like aliens (or humanoids like themselves) were visible at either end, with a much thinner membrane in these openings, which would seem to serve as doors or archways in and out. Inside the storage area a thick green paste of some kind covered the floor and some kind of mostly transparent tubes ran through the area like pipes, distributing the paste to the floor here and there and also carrying it to other, unseen parts of the ship/station. By far, the most strange thing the Rebel Agents could see was the dozen or so floating yellow globs, each almost as big as a fully grown human, drifting aimlessly through the area…

As Zuul took in the sights, he occasionally hissed at his burn wounds…..

Vale Starcloud

Vale offers Zuul one of the medpacs to cure his wounds. "Use this if you need to. Professor Jones would be much better at applying it to your wounds than I would be."

In the membrane chamber, he looks at the floating globs. "If those yellow orbs are alive, perhaps they have brains; and if they have brains, they must process emotional responses..." He once again uses his control of the Force to sense any emotions coming from the drifting globs. "I can do other things too, believe me," he says to the crew, a little too eagerly.

Clark will use a medpack on Zuul if he requests it.

"If they don't bother us, I say don't bother them." Clark says in reference to the yellow globs. However, he's curious to see what Vale can pick up...

Zuul

"Ah. Well, he isn't one to request aid...but, if you are offering..."
If helped Zuul will thank Clark and Vale.

Looking in better spirits, Zuul cheerfully awaits commands.

Zinn looks at the time flashing on the chronometer, comparing it with the current time, wondering what it might have been set for. He'll stuff the clothing in his ruck, figuring it might come in handy later.

Second level of Strange alien ship/station in Otherspace

As the Rebels take the time to examine the strange area they are in; attempt to Emphathize with the strange yellow globs; and treat injuries a solid half-hour or so goes by. Enough time for Professor Clark to treat Vale Starcloud and Zuul's wounds successfully (using 2 of the 4 medpacs they recently obtained); and for Gavin to realize he is no longer feeling clumsy, Vale to feel his usual Strength again and for Jackson to no longer feel as if his thoughts were cloudy*….

Vale then utilized the Force to try and learn what he could from the strange blobs, but he soon realized they were NOT alive; but rather seemed to be in some-way a form of 'waste removal' or 'anti-body' to remove anything 'hazardous' to the strange 'power system/veins' of this bizarre ship/station/thing they were all on….

The others soon realized that the only way ahead was thru the membrane-sealed-off area in which the globs were in, and so, with weapon at the ready and senses on full alert….they decided to do just that….

Zuul let the way, his large self easily tearing through the membrane 'wall', which rapidly started to 'heal' or 're-seal' itself behind him, but the others pushed through quickly as well. As they all moved through the strange, gooey-floored chamber, they noticed pipes or tubes of some kind on the walls, through which some kind of liquid was flowing. Up ahead, on the other side of the opposite membrane wall from which they entered, they could see an incline or ramp leading to a large chamber they couldn't tell the details of from here. Their attention however was soon on the dozen globs that were floating towards them now and that which suddenly seemed to sprout off multiple tendrils as they got closer…

Gavin "Well I saw blast first ask questions later fellas." the smuggler states before firing at will...nearest one to him firing 3 times, while advancing to leave.

As Gavin lays down covering fire, Vale races to the ramp leading out of the chamber and slashes open a hole in the membrane wall with his lightsaber. "Let's get out of here before we are surrounded!"

Zuul

"What the hell are these thingss?!" Zuul exclaims while watching the action unfold around him.
He quickly fires off a shot from his carbine, then starts retreating forward towards Vale and Clark until he notices Gavin standing put: "Gavin, time to go!"
Zuul stays near Gavin until he starts to leave.

Jackson will provide rear coverage, firing more to cover themselves than hit anything.
