Re: :D
If you felt strongly about multi-class, then I'm okay with it. As for XP split, I always just split it 50/50 like Zyhm was mentioning.
As for level limits, I understand why they are there, but I'm not a fan of them. I only have one guy who is currently a level limits candidate (my beloved Grimes, the Halfling on the Edge) but I'm inclined to say don't worry about them. I try to make it equitable for everyone, so play something that you like and will have fun with.
Spells: I'll give you a couple spells to start with, PLUS I'll let you pick TWO first level spells. And I think it's in the house rules, but Wizard types get int bonus spells as a cleric does for high wis.

Okay. I think I'll stick with MU/T, then. He'll advance reasonably quickly in thief levels even with the multiclassing, and it never hurts to have two characters checking for traps. Plus, another PC that has some combat ability wouldn't be bad.
Unless we want to say the heck with an MU/T and turn my PC into a paladin.

Well, it seems like most the bases are covered, so you have your pick. A Magic-User wouldn't be bad because the only one we have is multi-classed. I don't know much about the material we're going through, but it sounds like an abundance of fighters might not hurt; in fact, I'm still considering switching to a Fighter since we now have a Thief (the other side of the multi-classed Magic-User). I'm going to message our DM and find out when the deadline is to make up my mind, if it hasn't already passed.Bloodaxe wrote:Ok, what classes do we need?

Alright. Our player roster is set, and it reads like a Pro Bowl of PbP:
Greyarea
Connivingsumo
Tumblingdice
Bloodaxe
Spanningtree
Zhym
thirdkingdom
If we can, let's shoot for having all characters posted and ready to roll by Saturday or Sunday. If anyone needs more time, no worries - we've been ramping up this long, so a couple extra days is no big thing. So if you have a question, just holler at me. I know I owe Zhym some spells, and I need to look at each finished character to see if there's any info or stuff you need prior to starting. But when you are feeling ready to go, just post an "I'm ready" in this thread.
Thanks!

Goodbye Jaqaval; may our paths cross again.Zhym wrote:Okay.
Jaqaval Draides the magic-user/thief is no more. In his place: Beren the Bold! Paladin! Paragon of Virtue! But totally, like, a nice guy about it and not stuck up at all!
He's gonna be fun.
Hello Beren! May our adventures be prosperous!

Beren the Bold is going to love Nuruk Nosebreaker, neutral half-orc fighter.Zhym wrote:Okay.

Ok, Is the campaign # 495 ? I only have Campaign # 495. What the dice for stats? 4d6 - lowest? Or you can just give me stats and I'll arrange, whatever is easiest. Id rather not be a Mage. Id prefer a Cleric or Fighter type, maybe Ranger.

I thought it would be fun to play a filthy poor peasant archer.
