even being out of range the SGTs open fire on E4

F2: fires on E4 Medium Laser: Hit [2d6] = 7 | Location [2d6] = 11 | CritChance [2d6] = 8

P2: fires on E4 Medium Laser: Hit [2d6] = 7 | Location [2d6] = 5 | CritChance [2d6] = 7

you guys are 8 and 9 hexes away. Medium lasers and SRM's will reach 9 hexes max so it's a +4 to hit, but a 12 always hits.

David fires both of the Spider's medium lasers at point blank range into the Blackjack's back. His lasers melt armor from the mech's right leg and rear center torso armor. Seeing the Blackjack rock forward, Armbuster decides to add his fire at the sniping mech, but just barely misses as he fails to compensate correctly for his own movement through the air.

Failing to take out the Blackjack, Spectre swings both of the Spider's fists at it's exposed back, smacking the back of the enemy mech's head and its left rear torso.
