Gene grins as Coughlin blazes past him in his Spider at a blistering 130 kph, in a gambit to flush out the Locust. It never ceased to amaze him how fast that thing could move.

For a moment, he considers pressing forward alongside Spectre to screen his advance. But he knows Coughlin's Spider has the advantage in speed, armor, maneuverability, and firepower. Deciding that the MechWarrior has the situation well in hand, he throws Tricksie's throttle into reverse, backing up to coordinates 0611 instead.

Unwilling to stand toe to toe with the better armored and armed spider the locust walks back 3 spaces getting the partial cover back,

Ivan stays put for now hoping the sniper will slip up and move to where he can fire upon the foe. "I wouldn't sit there P1.

The LRM locust misses badly with its laser, but switches targets and peppers Ivans left arm with LRM's, the warheads explode stripping the mechs arm of armor.

the locust manages to chew some armor off Lt Harlows left arm as it streaks past and into the woods.

zeke can see e1 but it is long range (max actually) so +4

Gene growls in irritation, as the Locust's machine guns tag him in the left arm. The damage is minimal, but these enemies are proving to be far more trouble than they should be.

"Hold still, you jinky little bastard..." he mutters under his breath, as he twists the Phoenix Hawk to the right and fires a dual blast from the large and medium lasers in his right arm.

Gears whined as he twisted and, with little chance of hitting but praying for all he was worth, he fired laser and missiles both at E1.

More irritated than damaged Lt Harlow's medium laser melts a spot in the center of the locusts center torso as it comes to rest in the woods.

Zeke unable to shake the pesky stinger twists his torso with a grind as he runs past the LRM locust, pressing the trigger without even looking at his targeting console he is shocked when one of his missiles strikes the locus in the center torso stripping away what little armor it had exposing nothing but internal structure remaining.

Turning his torso to the left, David aims his medium lasers at the cowering locust. A single beam strikes the missile mech in the center torso, tearing a gaping wound in the light mech.

David stares, stunned, as he looks deep into his target's center mass, seeing engine and gyros both. Apparently, he has destroyed nearly all the internal structure, without actually hitting anything important. He frowns in frustration, while admiring the engineering that went into constructing his target.

The stinger winds up and throws a punch at the fleeing zeke but swings wide.

Ivan steadies himself and launches his SRM at the missile carrying locust.
Ivan (5 +1 for E1 move +4 for distance = 10)
[2d6] = 11
# of missles:[2d6] = 9 (2)

location 1:[2d6] = 3(ra)
location 2:[2d6] = 9(ll)

Possible crit 1:[2d6] = 7
possible crit 2:[2d6] = 11 (2 crit) (hip and upper leg actuators)

piloting skill roll:[2d6] = 3
The Missile equipped locust quickly learns the folly of sacrificing armor in return to load the long range missiles as he is quickly overwhelmed with a few well placed shots.

ivans SRM's slam into the right arm and left leg oi the thin plated mech. The missle strikign the leg blasts away the little armor there and destroys the hip and upper leg mechanisms. the pilot tries to keep himself upright but is unable to balance on the destroyed parts falling.

As the mech falls it sticks out its right arm to stop the impact. The fall bends and rends the exposed endosteel ripping the arm completely off.
