Starting a new thread here. The old one was getting kind of large.

Also, since I locked the old thread, here's this:

Anyway, to keep our focus on the characters, here's what I'd like to do.

Rules discussion in the OOC thread only.
Player to Player OOC in the OOC thread only.

Character to character communication can obviously happen in the main thread, if the characters are together and can talk.
OOC, but in-setting questions (What do I see? How tall is it? Do I know this guy?) are OK in the main thread.

This is just something I'd like to try. I'm not the boss of you guys.

If it doesn't work for people, let me know.

Benefiting from Instinct - getting the book and the extra mushroom

PERSONA:
Accomplishing a Goal - book and hammer

That is a total of 2 Fate and 2 Persona. Sheet adjusted.

I'll be keeping my BIGs this session.

Allric thinks Berry's naivity will get him killed facing a true evil, but that the young cleric needs to face his own trials and the evil chapel of dwarven cults is definitely Berrys to wrestle.

New goal set as , "I will help Berenwald in the Chapel."

I'll keep the BIGs the same.

I thought Thag earned 2 Fate - one for the instinct, the other for workimg towards dfeating evil (by helping/supporting us with the hunt for the book, etc).

Ok, 2 Fate then. I was waiting for confirmation.

Looks like 2 fate and 1 persona for Berry, also recorded.

Plus Berry gets to kick off with the Prologue and get not-Exhausted.

and for some reason, there are books higher than a human's head in this dwarven library.

Just a quick note on inventory:

1. I eliminated the 2 sacks form Berry's sheet on the google doc.
2. With Galen gone, we lose 2 fresh rations and a flask of water, among other things - but those seem most important to me

Ludanto, can we lay claim to those items, or are they lost? At the least, Rabon would want to swap water skins.

Being a team player, Galen would have given you anything except his weapon or armor.

Will I be scouting the well myself as an instinct? Or with help as a regular test?

Who says there's a test?

It's probably best to just describe what you're doing and see what comes of it.

If there's a test, and you're up there, searching by yourself while everybody else waits for you to signal that it's safe, then your Instinct will save you a turn.

Yes, or at least the food... He will hunt his way home...

That was indeed an impressive prologue.

Using a cooking pot as a bucket would not use up the pot.

I was updating my post as you entered yours. Is it safe to assume he died here trying to get some water. Probably he and the halfling corpse in the tower were the previous adventurers searching this place?
