OOC Discussion and Table Talk
Re: OOC Discussion and Table Talk
Don't let Miss Piggy hear you say that, or you'll end up with a karate chop to the midsection.

Hi,
I'm going away for the holidays and will be offline until Monday 1/8. Please NPC my character for me if I'm slowing things down.
Merry Everything, everyone, and best wishes for a Happy New Year.

Hey everyone. Max_vale had to drop out, so I'm going to NPC Xale until we can find a new player to take him over.

Can you be more specific? What exactly does Malibran try to do?ravenn4544 wrote:Malibran will help anyone as he can to stay afloat while looking for help himself to get to the center pathway

Re: OOC Discussion and Table Talk
if anyone is still struggling to surface, he will extend his mace for them to cling to - provided it doesn't drag him under the water (not sure the limitations on weight of the levitation potion at the moment). if no assistance is needed, or provided more robustly from someone else, he will look for a helping hand himself to make it safely to the center pathway.
Re: OOC Discussion and Table Talk
Thanks.
FYI, here's a quick recap of where everyone is:
In the boat: Risdac and Tanner
At the port side of the big room near the top of the waterfall: Odilo, Malibran (levitating); Khogeki (flying)
Dog paddling: Rool, Hallagad, Xale
Dog paddlers can move at a rate of 30'/round. They can't do anything else—attack, defend, cast spells with material or somatic components, etc. If they're in the water long enough, I'll start rolling to see if they tire and drown.
Also, at some point, I'll roll to see if anything got ruined by being dunked into the water. In the meantime, assuming everything is soggy (except for Risdac's and Tanner's stuff).

Re: OOC Discussion and Table Talk
I'm not exactly sure how Odilo is going to reach anywhere that he can actually land and not be in water since he can only move up and down with levitation guess I'll have to hover closer to the water and throw my stuff to wherever might be dry though a map might help plan actions better.

Re: OOC Discussion and Table Talk
The latest map I posted is still valid. It's in the IC thread.
Levitating PCs can move horizontally by rising to the ceiling and pushing themselves along. The movement rate is about 30'/round.

I neglected to think of that method of movement when levitating thanks for pointing that out ZhymZhym wrote:The latest map I posted is still valid. It's in the IC thread.

So the map i found is this one are we not back by the #5 on this map?

I can't remember if I posted this one, which shows what you now know of the port corridor:

Re: OOC Discussion and Table Talk
the map i posted was the most recent one i could locate in IC it was about 3-4 pages back from our current posts. But yes that's what I was understanding is we are back to the left of the #5 by what looked like a waterfall. Was just making sure i had my bearings before making a post declaring a move for Odilo then finding out i was in the wrong location. Thanks.

Re: OOC Discussion and Table Talk
We know that section 5 and 7 is water (and deep i think?). Is 8 also deep water or is that showing stone floor on the map? if it is deep water ahead of us, we'll need to rethink our strategy about moving forward. Levitating our way through may not be our best option...
Re: OOC Discussion and Table Talk
Everything you've seen foreward of the aft 20' of room 5 is covered in water. You haven't tested the depth of all of it, but what you have tested was deep.
Re: OOC Discussion and Table Talk
So, which direction? I'm guessing toward area 8, but I'll go with majority rule.
