Okay, here is the fast-forwarded version of what happens next. I'm not going to mess around with PMs for this one. We will just have to trust that my heroic players will not be peeking in this thread.

Granite and Geodan use their brute strength to try to get through the door, seeing no keypad, no handle, or key slot on the door to try out. They cannot bust it open, despite their best efforts (even crit rolls). Having found their very first dead end, they return to the group with the rifle they found, now secured in a crate they found in the open spaced room and a report of what they found down below.

Upon returning to the surface, Shrike spots a disturbing sight in the sky. A Rook Industries troop transport is found hovering overhead and is shortly then shot down by a rocket. The Pillars of Earth scouting group rushes to the scene to find another hero single-handedly taking down a group of men armed with futuristic rifles using only a katana-like blade. You question the guy and learn that his name is Raven and that he has been tracking the movements of his arch nemesis, Hot Streak. He points towards the direction that he saw him run away but admits that he is not going to follow. He has unfinished business with Rook Industries, the shady corporation that was a big player in the power plant incident.

You follow Raven's directions and find yourself outside of another warehouse, this one less abandoned and more 'occupied'.

"This must be that Hot Streak guy's hideout!" exclaims Shrike.

Granite nods in agreement silently but cautions the group of what may be waiting for them inside. "His men will be armed, and if the reports are correct, we have an inside agent within the grounds. We have to be careful not to hurt him, otherwise, the APD will be on our asses for a while."

"And that means Ms. Rhinestone will give us... even more, hell..." Sand Drift's words seem to sink in on some subconscious level. It looks like Geodan actually fears this Rhinestone lady. Good thing you're not really Geodan ;)

Consider yourself reunited with GreyWolfVT. Have fun.

Vincent as Geodan

"So who is this agent that we have to not hurt? Cause when it gets crazy, it might be hard to tell friend from foe." Geodan smiles a bit then continues "Unless, of course, he's wearing his 'Team Capes' jersey"

Geodan turns to Sand Drift "Care to scout ahead? Just let me know how many I need to take care of."

Geodan stays in granite form, and gets ready to bash in the doors.

For Monsieur:

Sand Drift is already on it, having sent in her near cloud of sand particles to get a map of the interiors. After a few minutes of waiting, the sand returns and puts together a topographical map of the warehouse's interior (almost like a holographic display), the bits of sand rising to create the shapes of crates and men and various other objects. The assembly finishes within seconds and you now have a visual on where everything is, roughly.

40-50 men are spotted, with two standing on a raised platform overlooking the rest. You can't tell which one is your inside man, and the knowledge that Granite is working off of is limited. "Don't know what he looks like now, might be in disguise or something, but he's human, an average joe, so that should narrow it down... I hope." Granite and the others get in position just outside of the warehouse's main entrance, knocking out a few guards in the process, waiting for Geodan's green light to break the doors down and catch the group within by surprise.

------

For GreyWolfVT:

"With the number of guys we have posted here, we should be fine for the time being. Almost everyone has a gun or rifle to use in a pinch and we are all within walking distance of getting one if need be. What I am worried about though is that Raven guy." Vorpal shrugs and looks around warily. "I've never seen you react that way before, not in front of a hero. Is he that strong? I-"

Vorpal is interrupted when a radio on his belt starts to blare. He replies, quite irritated, but then his expression changes. Confusion. "Wait, wait, slow down. Six of our guys didn't come back inside for the switch off?"

Hot Streak turns to Vorpal grim smile "Trust me we got either supers headin in or the authorities have figured out the cause of all the bombings." turning back to the others gathered "Grab your guns and arm up men! We're being raided!" turning back to Vorpal "We'd better hope it's just the police and not a team of supers as we're not numbered for that kind of strike force. We need some super villains and fast. That or tech enough to give the men almost super power like abilities. We make it outta this and we need to raid a tech lab." that being said Hot Streak runs off to to the secret exit to try and super speed to the main entrance and get a look at who is coming.

Vincent as Geodan

"It's clobberin' time!" "Rats. That's been used, right?"

"Anyway, let's do this." Geodan pounds his fists together, smiles at the group and starts racing towards the doors.

Once through the doors, he will take the left flank smashing as he goes.

For Monsieur and GreyWolfVT:

The warehouse doors give in easily to the might of Granite and Geodan as they start to raid the location.

All eyes are now on them, four supers to be exact. They seem to be making their way to Vorpal. Hot Streak is nowhere in sight and is able to confirm from his vantage point that there are only four that just entered.

"WHAT THE HELL!?" shouts Vorpal at the top of his lungs, clearly not expecting a supergroup to attack. "Everyone! Kill them!" The sound of a gunfire starts to erupt. Vorpal's men open fire on the heroes. One of the larger heroes made of some sort of stone, granite you think, blocks the majority of the bullets with a raised wall of stone coming from the ground.

Now... combat between future allies will be kind of awkward, so I won't force it. Things will play out cinematically until key events start to trigger. If you want to roll for combat against the villains within the warehouse, or the heroes that just barged in you are free to do so.

Hot Streak supper speeds in behind the heroes and aims for the fellow being referred to as Granite and sends forth a blast of fire. Meanwhile attempting to dodge any returned attacks.

Fire Blast [3d6] = 10 attack [5d6] = 22 dmg
Enhanced Dodge (15) [3d6] = 5

Vincent as Geodan

Geodan is enjoying the chaos. He wanders about smashing people and their cover. He doesn't seem to have a plan of attack, just moving from target to target haphazardly.

In the chaos, he notices that one seems to be a blur and appears behind Granite. "Hmm. A super, and he's not a cape. Interesting."

Geodan stops mid punch to see what happens next.

Combat Rolls
Enemy Gurps skill roll [3d6] = 5 Granite successfully dodged.
Enemy Gurps skill roll [3d6] = 12 Granite's attack is successful but misses due to Hot Streak's dodge.
Enemy Gurps skill roll [3d6] = 7 Sand Stream summons a cloud of sand successfully.
Enemy Gurps skill roll [3d6] = 6 Shrike snipes Vorpal
Gurps Skill Roll [3d6] = 13 Vorpal fails to dodge the attack from Shrike
[3d6] = 7 Damage from Shrike's attack
Gurps Skill Roll [3d6] = 12 Hot Streak fails to dodge another attack aimed at him.
Gurps Skill Roll [3d6] = 10 Unknown assailant hits Hot Streak with a gun.
Glock Pistol [2d6+1] = 9+1 = 10 Glock pistol damage, first shot
Glock Pistol [2d6+1] = 9+1 = 10 Glock pistol damage, second shot
Glock Pistol [2d6+1] = 11+1 = 12 Glock pistol damage, final shot
For Monsieur and GreyWolfVT:

The warehouse raid becomes very chaotic, very quickly. The supers that barged into the place instantly set off into motion and pick their targets, catching most of the armed men off guard. Granite and Geodan lumber into the crowd and toss punches around, punches packed with heavy earth and stone. Seeing the debilitation of the armed mob as a crucial point to help end the battle, Sand Stream and Granite break off from the group to help perform crowd control.

Granite is interrupted by the sudden sneak attack from Hot Streak and fails to summon stalagmites from the ground. He instead is forced to dodge and throw a counterpunch at Hot Streak. Both Hot Streak and Granite miss each other in the heat of the moment. After the exchange, 3 bullets whiz by the group of supers and strikes Hot Streak in the side. Having failed to dodge the volley, he takes a combined total of 32 points of damage. Roll against HT to stay conscious. Your super regeneration kicks in, regardless of the result. Even if you are below 0 in Hit Points, the enemy needs to get you to -240 to truly take you down for good.

Word of caution, guns are dangerous in Gurps... one of the supers knows this well and does something about it.

Sand Stream is successful in summoning a cloud of sand into the air, clogging the guns up and making them malfunction. A person within the mob starts to take notice of the situation and encourages them to drop their guns and overwhelm them with melee weapons. "Come on you numbskulls, don't you know how to aim?" he shouts, frustrated by their initial efforts to hit any of the supers. "Oh well, jump in there and gang up on those supers." he then adds on after seeing what is going on.

One of Vorpal's men appears to be taking charge of the situation and helping the group combat the supers effectively. He rushes to Vorpal's side to provide back up as he sees him take a shot to the torso. One of the supers just sniped Vorpal, but delt only minor damage (7 points). "Watch my back!" shouts Vorpal to the man nearby, "I'm going to dive in."

Of all of the supers that started to wreak havoc on Vorpal's men, only one stopped and turned to look back at Hot Streak.

You passed your HT roll. Your character stays conscious and can still move around, but your superspeed can now be spotted using perception and you now dodge at half value.

Hot Streak tries to super speed to a clearer spot back with his allies and fires a blazing bullet at the one called Granite. Blazing Bullet [3d6] = 9 attack [9d6+1] = 22+1 = 23 dmg

Vincent as Geodan

Geodan takes a pause in the action to survey the scene. He's looking for anyone who isn't fighting or is missing badly. He's on the lookout for the inside man.

The people shouting orders are of particular focus.

Combat Rolls
Gurps Skill Roll [3d6] = 13 Hot Streak Stealth Roll (Superspeed), succeeded by 1
Enemy Gurps skill roll [3d6] = 8 Enemy perception check, succeeded by 7
Enemy Gurps skill roll [3d6] = 9 Granite failed to dodge by 2
Gurps Skill Roll [3d6] = 10 Vorpal's to hit roll
Vorpal Sword Arm Strike [8d6-1] = 25-1 = 24 Vorpal's sword arm damage
Enemy Gurps skill roll [3d6] = 10 Granite fails dodge roll by 3
Enemy Gurps skill roll [3d6] = 5 Shrike successfully snipes
[3d6] = 7 Shrike's sniping damage
Enemy Gurps skill roll [3d6] = 9 Sand Stream successfully pulls together a miniature sandstorm
Hot Streak successfully gets away from the group of heroes and puts some distance between himself and Granite. Using this opportunity, he fires a Blazing Bullet to great effect! The hero did not see this coming, and though made of some sort of stone, took damage and staggered backward just the same. You didn't know rocks could catch on fire, until today.

With Vorpal now nearby, Hot Streak feels a bit more secure in his position and is finally able to take notice of some of the other things happening around him. Two sets of eyes can be seen looking at him and Vorpal. One of the heroes, also made of stone, stops his fighting and watches Hot Streak carefully, not making any sudden moves, but scanning the crowd, looking for something, or someone...

After a few seconds of this, the hero's eyes fall upon a man standing right behind Vorpal and Hot Streak, the same man that has been helping the mob react to the changing tides of combat, the same one that has offered to back up Vorpal. "Watch my back!" shouts Vorpal to the man nearby, "I'm going to dive in."

"You got it, boss."

Vorpal rushes in to deal with the heroes head on. The man follows shortly behind him carrying a random item for swinging. Vorpal's sights are set on Granite, and with a leaping arm slice maneuver, he brings the weight of his strength down upon the shambling pile of rocks, dealing, even more, damage and sending the hero thundering to the ground. What happens next is unexpected. The man covering Vorpal's back kicks him from behind, aiming at the back of one of his knee joints for maximum effect. To make matters worse, a sniper has Vorpal pinned to the ground now. When he tries to get back up, a hero from afar shoots at him, always square in the chest. The force of impact alone keeps Vorpal down. ".....! WHAT THE F--K IS GOING ON?! DAMN THEM ALL!" He shouts out loud out of rage.

From Geodan's point of view, the supergroup is starting to panic, you can tell. Sand Stream never saw Granite fall so easily from attacks like that. Out of desperation, she summons a sand cloud nearby to debilitate the mob of men further and buy her group some time to recover. She shouts for Shrike and Geodan to help get Granite back up and to relocate. The mob is caught in the throes of a sandstorm, unable to continue on without coughing on the sand and rubbing stinging grains of it from their eyes. From the cloak of the sandstorm, Vorpal does not see who strikes him from behind, nor can he see clearly the events going on near the front warehouse entrance. Hot Streak, however, see's everything, his goggles shielding his eyes, and sees Vorpal perform a silent gesture with his free hand. 'Bring the place down, set off the alarm.'

You had explosives placed for such a contingency, and Vorpal's men know what to do when they hear the siren. Get. Out. NOW.

Once Monsieur chimes in with what he wants Geodan to do, we can resume the warehouse battle.

I'll check back in a few hours. If the response comes after 12 EST, I will probably do the update tomorrow since I will be sleeping for my third shift work.

Vincent as Geodan

Finally realizing that this place has gone to hell, Geodan moves towards Granite and tries to help him to his feet. The sandstorm makes it difficult to locate the large super. "Where are you, Granite?"

Geodan will try and locate Granite, and pull him out of the warehouse if he can't walk.

Some conditionals:
If the crate with the radioactive weapon is still nearby, Geodan will go retrieve it and head back into the warehouse.
If not, Geodan will make sure everyone is out, and then rush back into the warehouse.

"I'm going back in. We need someone to question!"
